The program works well, but requires a complex configuration to alert us in power and network outages. The ergonomics of navigation could be more intuitive as well.

I did not like the fact that I was forced to upgrade and it did not transfer the previous FTP info .. So I had to re enter everything ..

The licensing model is garbage. Inconvenient and clunky.

Great product --- I tried using maybe 4-5 years ago using an old version. Recently, I changed computer and had to buy a new licence of WS_ftp. The transfer of my sites credentials wasn't obvious but I found out a way and it's been working very well so far.

I've used WS-FTP for years (since the 1990s). I purchased the latest version a couple of years ago, and it had worked fine until recently. It will no longer run, and various system logs seem to indicate that other software - including Microsoft's windows explorer - have gotten currupted by WS-FTP as well. I recently re-purchased WS-FTP, but so far have not been able to install it successfully. Until my recent experience, I've been very happy with WS-FTP.
