I went for the wealth retreat event in Toronto in the last week and did sign up for the 3 day introductory course. I have some questions with regards to the course and have been trying to get in touch with the customer service on the number listed on the form. All I seem to get is their voicemail and the mailbox is full. I'm beginning to wonder about the authenticity of this programme and the institute.

Zainab,
We are so sorry this happened, as we go to great lengths to take care of our Canadian customers. We had a 3-day weekend for Memorial Day and were not in office. It Looks like we reached out to you first thing on Tuesday and your issue was resolved. I will forward this on to the Management Team and make sure they are aware of your concern. We will take steps to make sure this does not happen again on future Holidays.

These people are CON-Artists
These people are CON-Artists. They took $1000 and promised that the y would have a class in my area and after 6 months of contacting them, they want to upsell me and take more money and still have no date for a class in my area. When I called the credit card company to stop the charge they adamantly fought to keep the money for the service they failed to perform. It is a scam because they use Kevin O'Leary's picture to attract people when he has nothing to do with this. They waste your time and steal your money. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!!!!

Nader,
I am sorry that you feel the way that you do about the event. Kevin O'Leary is a huge part of our program and we are proud to be associated with him. We provide a valuable training for those seeking to learn and grow and be successful with Stocks and Options. it may not have been for you and we understand that but many others go on to have the success they are looking for.
I went to College for six years and then decided that my field of choice was not for me. I opted to go a totally different route with my career. That did not make the University a bunch of Con men or my education a scam . It just did not work out for me. Nader, we wish you the very best as you go forward with your goals and dreams. What ever training or filed you choose, do it well and give it all you got.

No one at home.
Okay. So I paid for the 2 l/2 day class and when I got there the class had been cancelled. No explanation--it was just cancelled. So they offered me the class online and I could keep the trading tool used in class. Well, so ffar I have not talked to a real person, except for the person who called me on the phone and talked me into taking the class instead of getting my money back. I have been contacted by email but they tell me to call customer service and there is no one there. I am in the process of asking for my money back. I can't understand the process on my own and I assume when you take the class they show u how to use the trading tools. I am really disappointed.

Elaine,
I am so sorry that we are at this point. I want people to be happy with the program they purchased. There is a help line that you can call for questions and teaching. From what I understand Product Support had reached out as well. I will write you personally and see if we can resolve this.

Reimbursement Tip - Review of $1000 Class - Avoid Seed Capital
Reimbursement Tip: This is not financial advice. There is no time limit on how long a trade needs to be open for. Open a Robinhood account and buy and sell a call or put option or stock 15 times back to back to back(not in the same day or you get day trade violation) until you have reached a total over $1000. $67 x15 = over $1000 and you meet your requirement. By doing the trade on Robinhood you pay 0 commission fee and as long as you go in and out over and over you stand little risk to lose any of your principal while also accomplishing the goal of getting your $1000 back. Enjoy.
I want to start by saying our counselor Dave was absolutely wonderful. We had an elderly man in our group and besides myself, Dave really made an effort to make sure this man was getting help. Unfortunately, this is where my praise of the 2 and half day $997 class ends.
I have nothing bad to say about the program, the trading software, or the additional paid classes that total to $33,997. My issue is with the education provided for a paid $1000 intro program. The instructor Stephen was a great sales person and was well versed in how to use sales speaking tactics extremely well. There were several items that Stephen spoke about that he delivered false information on despite being corrected. The first false information he stated was when speaking about what a market maker is. He went on to state that we are lucky here because for example in South Africa there is no market maker. Yikes, you might want to google that one.
On more than 3 occasions he referenced the recent trade moves of Warren Buffet stating he had bought 75 million shares of Microsoft. If you are active in the market and are not just a hired speaker how is it, you do not know he purchased APPLE stock. In fact, Warren hates Microsoft. There are so many articles and news channels that covered this that I could understand saying it incorrectly once, but not on all 3 days. I even yelled out you meant APPLE to which he just kept talking.
Next up was his brave attempt to use Cryptocurrency to get peoples attention. The slides on cryptocurrency were literally screenshots of the definitions of the coins from Wikipedia or some other site. They didn’t even take the time to adjust the images so that the font was not all squished together; you would have laughed. Next came Stephen’s fatal flaw by stating blockchain has been hacked before. Stephen was clearly not well versed in this technology as it has never been hacked and is likely never to be hacked. There have been ico’s and exchanges that have been hacked but never blockchain. I once again advised verbally that block chain has never been hacked and you are wrong. It is unfortunate that you would be presenting on topics that you do not have a full understanding of. I would suggest googling blockchain hacked as you would have easily known it has never been penetrated.
The overall education time during the 2 and half days amounts to about an hour. The rest of the time is geared towards generic topics and a doom and gloom outlook on the world’s future. Stephen would literally go off on tangents for an hour about stuff that had nothing to with trading options. Apparently, he thought 3d printers are something no one has heard of. Day 2 was primarily a full education on what additional courses Interactive Trader offers. The one on one consults are their opportunity to see if you want to purchase the additional classes.
I would recommend this class to those looking to fully explore what additional educational programs Interactive Trader offers. This is not a good class if you have a basic understanding of options. It is geared toward the lament person who has no comprehension of the world that we live in and how the stock market and option market function. There were a lot of affluent people in the room that left with myself and everyone had the same comment. “Damn, I would have loved to signup for classes and move forward but they didn’t show us anything of substance that made me go, now those guys know the secret sauce.” Making it worse was how Stephen was almost insulting our level of intelligence on the world we live in with an over the top sales pitch that was designed to leave us feeling helpless unless we spent money to move forward with their program.
I think Stephen is probably a highly intelligent person whom I would get along with great but the side I saw this weekend came across as arrogant and I don’t think that was his intention. It was a shame. I hope you guys improve on the delivery of this intro presentation or adjust the expectations of those heading into the class to better match the substance provided. I truly wish you guys the best of luck with the future success of this program and helping to educate the masses.
5-16-2018 update - After looking into the money they offer through Seed Capital I felt the need to add to this post. ***Please do not use them if your intention is to use the multiple credit cards to finance investments. When they advertised this at the event I was very suspect and after speaking with Seed Capital and other credit card companies this is not feasible. Cash advance generally has a setup fee and even if there is $0 cash advance fee they charge you a daily interest rate at the same rate of the credit card. Lets say you went out on your own and did this through PenFed or another credit union they will charge you around 12% a day(this is the lowest companies). That means for every $1000 you borrow you get charged at $120 dollars interest per day until you pay it back. You will never be able to use this as a means of investing funds and the fact that this is pitched during the 3 day class is horrible. Furthermore, in order to get these funds your credit will be run by 6-10 companies on average causing inquires that will destroy your credit in the short run while not providing you funds for what you intended when signing up. These funds can only be used to finance their $34,000 program at which you will be paying Seed Capital a large flat fee and now have to pay back $38,000 minus any cash you laid toward this prior. How is it sound investing advice to put people $38,000 in high interest bad credit card debt, destroy their sort term credit score, and leave them with no money to finance their investing after the classes. Remember to be smart and ask questions before making financial decisions like taking out a magical loan. Hope I save some of your credit scores.

Total Scam. Be Careful
Total Scam.
I paid $1000 for this 2 and half day workshop(attended Kevin O'Lary seminar in Sacramento and this marketing AssH** allure lots of people their and I was one of them) but did not learn anything excepts concepts and trying to sell their advance courses(all the concepts and course you can learn from Udemy and other ways less than $10) in this workshop which is too expensive and start from $20K. Basically their first 3 day workshop is trying to attract people to enroll in their classes.
I researched a lot in google about their reviews and social media profiles and also about their trainers info. but looks like they work in somewhere else and so on.. Looks all fake...
Trainer name was Shaun Shelton and when I google about him and found one video about his seminar in Australia about real estate and his linkden profile is also tells everything about this guy doesn't work in interactive trader,
Check his profile in Linkedin Shaun Shelton Design Technologies, Las Vegas Nevada
He looks like Speaker and Marketing guy who sells people black hole. Allure people to buy their expensive course(not any information about it's genuine and anyone get any benefits or not) and their target audience are people who broke, not have jobs, above 50 and so on.
I asked one of their representative that provide me few of your previous students information who is doing successful trading(or become good trader) and satisfied with this course and he did not has any information also asked about why don't you have any information available on social media or google if you say we are no.1 in teaching option trading but he did not has any relevant answer trying to switch the topic after I asked him about provide me your information(or anyone of you) so I can contact you if I want to register later then he said that we legally bind not to provide our information. After I realized that this is total scam that's why this guy don't want to give their information.
Moreover, looks like they sell all your information to third party companies like credit card, credit repair and so on.(Total Scam)

KP,
I can appreciate that this is how you feel about the program and i am sorry the experience was not for you. I am going to reach out to you personally. The help, training, software and materials are there to help everyone be successful. i guess it is fair to say that we all learn and develop at different levels. If people desire more education, it is available but not required. All of our trainers are skilled and work the program themselves. It is true that some have come from a Real Estate background looking for ways to invest their profits. We give everyone who has the desire to be successful the opportunity. Personal information is protected and I can 100% assure you that no customers information is sold to anyone. I guess you will read good and bad on all businesses. Know that it is human nature that there is going to be a lot more bad published than good. The people that are having success tend to want to keep it to themselves. Thank you for your comments but I fail to see anything valid that will help us be a better company or make the customers experience more rewarding.
Look for my personal email

Integrity is highly questionable
I paid the $1100 tuition for 3 days training after being told we will be provided hands on training on their platform while wirking in small groups. Nothing like that happened. No computers allowed in the room. No small group coaching. A handful of options strategies were shared and the rest of the training we paid for was spent in promoting $20-40k training programs. Mentors were there only to promote their programs.
The tuition fee rebate criteria is designed to be impossible to meet unless you sign up for a coaching program with them or as the instructor Stephen says, you will not be ready to trade by the end of the 3 day training so you will be taking big risks!
Beware!

Sajid,
We thank you for your comments as we are constantly trying to make the program better. The education and help you receive is much like a college education. We will help you get started in these 3-day classes but the learning never ends. I will reach out to you personally and see what I can do to help.

Rotten apples
They try to get you to attend their intro by lies: 1) the book they promise is conveniently not available 2) the "breakfast" is a joke and consisted of a bad bagel and a rotten apple (how fitting) 3) their "millionaire success habits" is just a pitch to get you to sign up for their options trading platform. Waste of time!
Response from Interactive TraderApr 20, 2018
Carol,
Thank you for your comments. We try our best to make sure everyone gets exactly what is promised. I am going to reach out to you personally and make sure you get what you feel was promised.

What a disappointment!
What a disappointment! Everything was great and sounded like an amazing opportunity to learn more until they threw out the $997. At that point I decided to look at their reviews and thank GOD I did! They couldn’t even make good on the dinner they promised and I stuck around until the hotels posted clean up time for that room they were using! Very disappointed but they certainly have a very dynamic speaker to reel you in (MAC - if that’s even his real name!). I would say to anyone else looking into this - don’t waste your time unless you want a free book and an MP3 player that doesn’t work!
Response from Interactive TraderApr 20, 2018
Lisa,
I am sorry the experience was not a good one. The vast majority of our customers walk away pleased with the presentation. We wish you success in any venture you decide to seek. We are here to help everyone who wants to change their life.
