10 chips = 10% of daily sodium reqt + hidden MSG and sugars = one unhealthy product
Was handed a bag of this brand's rockin' ranch SKU on a recent flight. Nearly gagged. First was the overpowering level of salt. The back panel told the whole story. Just 10 chips equal 10% of daily sodium intake. Then there was the cloying taste of sugar and MSG. Stated ingredients include cane sugar, maltodextrin, and yeast extract (food companies use this as a happier sounding version of monosodium glutamate), and tapioca syrup solids (aka, dried glucose syrup or glucose syrup solids). Eat at your own risk.
