A couple of months ago, Hideout.TV sent me an email warning me that there was suspicious activity on my account and that I needed to change my password. This was an account that had been unused for a long time, but I logged in and had a look around but found no evidence of suspicious activity. However, I changed the password as had been instructed. About a week later, I found the account had been suspended. That's not a problem as I did not use that account but it soon dawned on me as to what may have been happening. I believe the original email that hideout.tv sent to me (requesting I changed password due to suspicious activity) was a very underhand way of verifying my IP address! There was no suspicious activity on my account at all. They want me to log in, change password and by doing so were able to verify my IP address. Once they had my IP address, I believe they had all they needed to suspend my account. Why the IP address was blacklisted, I don't know, but I suspect that running an app called Honeygain on a separate server machine, may have contributed to this. But still, lieing to me in the email, just goes to show what obnoxious and totally dreadful company they really are.

I’ve been using this service for 2 years. The earnings have been spotty, one day 15 cents, the next 5, next 55. No rhyme or reason. I figured it out when I started that I needed to earn around 13 cents a day to break even for electricity and wear and tear on the chrome book that I used. I usually hit that, and the odd 55 cent day would make up for the occasional 5 cent day. Last week I had a day that made $2.50. I just guessed that it was a bonus day, to help with the lackluster earnings recently. I made the mistake to try to withdraw. They immediately paused the withdraw, then temporarily suspended my account. I, unlike most of the reports here, received a reply in a couple hours. They would look into it. Didn’t get a follow up, so replied… asking what had happened, where’s my money, why am I suspended. Again, they replied within a couple hours. They said that there was nothing that they could do. That’s it. No explanation, no nothing. Oh… they did permanently ban my account. A customer for over 2 years, and that’s the response that I earned. I was using the same chrome book, was still passing their stupid little bot checks. Not running any scripts, bots, vpn, nothing. I wouldn’t know how to use one if I had access to one, honestly. And why bother for 15 cents a day? I probably earned around $300 US, cost of probably $100, so it WAS a decent platform. I’m sure that I made them over 1k over my time, and I’m treated like poop; no explanations, no nothing. Just think that they didn’t want to pay me $2. $2! Stay away from this company!

You'll get IP banned for nothing! and the customer services are non-existent so I wouldn't waste your time.

HORRIBLE COMPANY!!! Go look at their twitter and facebook and read the 1000s of users who are getting: "This device or IP is ineligible for rewards". I emailed support and I was told to wait for the issue to be fixed within a day or so. It's been 26 days!!! Customer service DOES NOT reply back to the email. So you don't ban my account but instead you disable earnings for my account which is called a SCAM Literally Hideout.tv is a SCAM. Go read the 100s of people who cannot earn a single point because Hideout blames this issue on the advertisers yet here I am an ENTIRE MONTH later and still can't earn a single point!!! YOU LITERALLY ARE SCAMMING

Wish I could give them ZERO STARS!!! I started using hideout.tv 4 months ago and things were going well. I was earning about 3000 points a week regularly but then I started to get the following messages whenever I tried to log in... I did as they asked on safari and it didn't fix the problem that I wasn't earning points after watching videos. So I decided to download Chrome thinking that that would fix the issue. then I got the following message. It appears this internet connection (IP Address) has been temporarily blocked by one of our partners. This is unrelated to the standing of your Hideout account. Sometimes these blocks can last a few hours or a few days and are most common in public places such as coffee shops and places of business. If you believe this internet connection was blocked in error please let us know at when I contacted their customer service they at first unlocked my account but then I got the same IP message a day later. Now their customer service won't even get back to me. DO NOT EVER GIVE these SITES YOUR personal IP address....Thats how you get your identity stolen, anyone with your IP Adress can commit fraud in your name. FLUCK YOU HIDEOUT.TV!!!

If you watch too much time video and make lots of coin they create some reason and banned your ip adress. When you send mail and ask why you banned. They explain "wait a few days it can start work again maybe" Dont waste your time its scam.

I’ve been using the platform for 3months and never had a issue with earning points until the past week. I’ve contacted customer services and had been told to check back in a day or 2 and ads should reappear. Still nothing. On the Facebook page it seems that everyone who lives in the UK are experiencing the same problem and receiving poor customer service and communications from Hideout.tv. Points earned by completing offers take a while to appear in your balance too. When withdrawing the points over a certain amount they need to be approved but this doesn’t happen within the 24hr time limit as displayed on the website at the time of conversion
