I have commented on our pricing in past reviews (see below) and hoped that it could be understood that we include the cost of visiting one our networked Physicians for FREE. His time and services customarily cost $150 per consultation or between $20 to $40 with co-pay insurance. When you factor in the time, expense and visit with your own Doctor and Pharmacy, you may come to realize that you have to take some time off work and wait to visit with your Doctor, then drive to the Pharmacy to obtain your medication. We hope that eliminating the need to speak to your healthcare providers regarding your medical concerns has value. We have had the privilege to gain the support of over 550,000 Customers since 1998. Hello, We can agree that the price increases have been substantial. This would be because like clockwork for the past 7 years Pfizer and Eli Lilly have increased the cost of Viagra and Cialis to USA Pharmacies twice per year by hefty sizable margins. If you turned back the calendar to 1998, Viamedic.com charged only $9 per 100 mg Viagra Tablet. (The cost to the Pharmacy was introduced by Pfizer at $7.00 per Viagra 100 mg tablet). Sixteen years later Pfizer has raised their cost to Pharmacies greater than 4 times that original cost. Actually, today it cost the Pharmacies in the USA approximately $31 per Viagra 100 mg tablet. Part of the problem is that these blockbuster drugs like Cialis have a 15 year patent expiration date (22 years for Viagra) that is set to expire in 2017. Cialis was introduced by Eli Lilly and GSK in 2003. Eli Lilly started the twice a year cost increase for Cialis in 2008 and Pfizer followed them to keep up with growing their revenue as much as they decided the market could bare. Thank you for your comments. It is very important that everyone know that the 3 largest Pharmacy Chains in the US charge an average price of $41.39 per Cialis 20mg tablet. Add to this the cost and time to visit your Primary Care Physician with an insurance co-pay of "between" $20 to $40 per visit. Now compare these costs to an introductory price on Viamedic.com for a 2ct which is prices at $104.00 and it includes the Doctors review and prescription. Timothy, The prices that we promote are the same or lower than visiting your Doctor and picking them up at your local Pharmacy. We used to charge a very low pill cost plus a $69 processing fee to cover the cost of the Doctor consultation and Pharmacy Fulfillment fee’s, however our customers kept asking for the total price of buying a certain quantity of pills rather than having to be explained our former processing fee. Just to reminder you and everyone reading, always keep in mind all costs associated with visiting your primary care physician and the time and expense to visit your local Pharmacy. We hope to offer the best service available at a reasonable price. Lastly, the cost for the Pharmaceutical Manufacturer may not be listed for public viewing, since this cost is their proprietary cost analysis to supply to the pharmacy chain of distribution. Dear Scott, we wish we could control the prices of the medications that our Pharmacies pass through to us, but we can't due to the Pharmaceutical Manufactures continuing to increase their medicine costs well above the rate of inflation.
