I had one simple question. Person on phone did not listen. She kept asking all these questions and gathering information to sign me up. I told her o was not interested. Was told if I didn’t agree to terms she couldn’t answer my question. When done with questioning she said I was a member and was going to hang up. I reminded her that I called for a question I needed an answer to. IT WAS ALL A JOKE!! I still have no idea what HealthSelect is nor do I care at this point.

Don’t have it

Very pressure insistent salesman. Talked over me, tried to guilt me, "not his fault that I didn't plan ahead.", played every scenario in the salesman book. I was angry for the rest of the day. I will never use this system again for anything. If he represents the best of what you have to offer.......that's sad, very sad. The insurance companies better wake up and get with the no money times of 2026. After 2008, many average people got stripped of their savings, homes and some their jobs. Having to rebuild a life's worth of savings, dividends, exterior income at the age of 50 to 55 is not a reality, considering retirement is in 17 years and you are starting from scratch. Insurance companies are depending on that extra, disposable income that just doesn't exist any longer. So quoting me for a $100,000 dollar policy that costs me $800.00 and some a month, (that's a house mortgage) is ridiculous. Even half that amount was still too high, ($400.00) for offering end of life coverage. And to boot I had to deal with a rude salesperson. You all may say well I'm being unrealistic, yet I live in an area that over 62% of my town is retired people trying to get by, so I see the real situation daily. Average every day folks that have worked all their lives, got caught up in the 2008 scam and never recovered. Golden years are supposed to be something you look forward to, not regret getting there and have nothing to show for it because of other greedy, heartless people that never see what their decisions have done. It's called the trickle down effect and it is real.

Kept bugging me

I have been trying to get health insurance for over three months, so that I can get medication. I have been through the long drown out process 4 times. I have been mentally raped repeatedly by the various reps, who I’m sure were just doing their jobs. However, none of them cared about my personal situation and they continued to state that they understood, they did not waver from putting me through the nightmarish pain over and over, their only concern was to fulfill their primary goal. I told them that I kept getting denied. The letters I received stated that I was out of their network and the system showed me as being incarcerated. I begged each rep the check the system to see my status before making me repeat the same task that lead to a rejection. They asked me the same torturous question over and over and the same results occurred and yet it did not deter them from forcing me to repeat the same action.
