Let down
I was told I could get the Medicare advantage so signed up. I then was told that I wasn't eligible till October which was a big let down and a waist of 30 minutes

Hi Jimmy, Medicare enrollment generally occurs during a 7-month Initial Enrollment Period surrounding your 65th birthday: 3 months before, the month of, and 3 months after your birthday. If you are already receiving Social Security, enrollment is automatic. Special rules apply for working past 65, disabilities, or if you miss the initial window.
