Grand Capital Mortgage Experience
My biggest warning to others is their lack of communication. I could barely get a callback, text, or email from them. After submitting all documents on time they still failed to meet the deadline for closing and did not communicate with me, my realtor or the seller, all of which tried to contact them. According to my realtor they also tried to put the blame on me as if i did not submit the required documents on time. Also keep in mind the possible 3rd party vendors they might use as well. The processor and underwriter are just as bad but I'm not sure if they were part of rocket mortgage or part of grand capital. When i did get in contact with the processor and loan officer they also put the blame on rocket which may be true but i didn't have direct contact with them so i have no experience to share regarding rocket mortgage. My realtor also informed me that their delay on closing may cause me to pay upfront the full years taxes, if we don't close by the 31st. Which I'm sure will happen since i apparently need 3 days to review the disclosure and then i can close and today is the 27th and earliest i can get the disclosure is the 29th. I hope this helps someone, especially if you are a first time home buyer like me.
