Do not believe times tickets we booked 10:30 am to Gozo from…
We booked 10:30 am to Gozo from Bugibba. The catamaran was already nearly full of Sliema passengers but the company had kept selling timed tickets. We were not allowed on. We were told to comeback at 12:30 and yes the same thing may happen. Left hearing shouting tourists trying to get money back. A ‘timed’ ticket means nothing. System over books grossly probably every day …. Easier to get a bus from Mosta Rd to old car port ferry and walk on without even a ticket!

Folks the one star review is only…
Folks the one star review is only ticked because a minus 20 cannot be given, This is one of the original Cowboy Outfits at its best, We , a part of Four Adults, 2 of which are disabled booked a return journey on their ferry from Valletta to Gozo, 4/2/26 the first part of the journey went without any issues, when you book online you have to state when you intend to do the return journey, before boarding I asked the ticket attendant if we wanted to return earlier or later would that be ok she informed me that that would be no problem, we arrived in Gozo at 10-30, done all our site seeing & returned to the ferry point only to be told that all ferries were cancelled for the rest of the day , no warning whatsoever, there is one other ferry company that operates from Gozo to Malta but to a different part of the island, we managed to buy tickets for this then get a long bus journey back to our destination, Folks, DO NOT TRAVEL WITH GOZO HIGHSPEED FERRIES, THEY ARE RIP OFF MERCHANTS AND WILL LEAVE YOU HIGH AND DRY, the other ferry company runs 24/7, Gozo high speed ferry is the worst experience we have ever had & hope to never repeat

NO CONSIDERATION TO NOISE. My only complaint is that the trip is…
My only complaint is that the trip is too noisy. On a particular boat the PA system is left coming on and off with some singer by the name of Ira telling us all about herself. This is annoying and imposes on the passengers' ability to relax peacefully. The video clip with the safety instructions is too long with background music which is far too loud. It is repeated once in Maltese and again in English. The management might consider simply providing written safety instructions on a leaflet for each seat and having a simple announcement on the PA instructing the passengers to refer to it.
Also passengers should be instructed not to stay on their mobile phones listening to music or talking loudly for long periods but the worst unbearable noise is when infants are left screaming loudly during the entire trip. Passengers find this noise unbearable and should not have to put up with it. There should be a small Crying Room for screaming babies.
NOISE must be given due consideration.

Online timetable didn't show that service is suspended
I checked their online timetable, and the normal schedule was showing. I arrived at the terminal and there was a sign on the locked door to the effect that they were not operating because of the weather.
I sent a message to complain about this. The (email) response was "Kindly contact bookings(AT)gozohighspeed.com ."
Any half decent customer service agent would have forwarded my message and copied me in.
