About JobsReviews of gotthejob.com

Don and Jeff did an amazing job marketing my skill sets on my resume and LinkedIn profile. It has been many years since I've interviewed and I decided to revamp my resume. When I saw Don's resume samples on his website, I was sold. It was concise, thorough and emphasized a person's accomplishments (without the flowery language). I highly recommend spending time filling out the questionnaire they send you. It helps with having the best resume you can get in front of potential employers. Literally, a few days after finishing the final drafts, a company contacted me and within two weeks, had a great job offer which I accepted. I didn't expect all this to happen so quickly. I highly recommend their service. I wouldn't have gotten my foot in the door without their help! Thanks Don & Jeff!

Don and his team of professionals are truly top notch. Their work and attention to details outshines their closest competitor. They are true resume writers that are willing to take the time and carefully interview each client. I highly recommend About Jobs without any reservation

I am extremely satisfied with the completed resume and the materials given to me by Don to assist in my job search. Don is very responsive if you have any concerns and really cares about his client's satisfaction with the service. I managed to get into a job with a large transportation company with outstanding benefits. I used the resume in conjunction with the linkedin networking tips to land the job. At the same time I was offered another position as a management consultant which I decided to do part time. That job was offered via a business connection from my past employer. Resume expectations have changed a lot over the years. It is very difficult to even get a call for an interview due to the vast amount of resumes recieved for each position. This service really helped me stand out from the crowd! I highly recommend the resume and LinkedIn services provided by Don and his staff! Thank you for everything!

I was skeptical about paying for any service to write a resume but then I heard that "your resume is your most important financial document". I decided this should be something I invest in. I went from $15 per hour to $45 per hour. I look so much more professional and the process that Don uses really unlocks your hidden skill set. Worth every penny!

As a senior executive with extensive tenure in his current role, it had been many years since completing a resume. Times have changed as have formats, style and the information being sought. My resume request is also somewhat unique as it is aimed at post-retirement Board positions. Don and his team hit the mark with my resume. It has taken 35 years of experience and concisely boiled it down to the relevant facts and highlights. Don took what I thought would be a painful experience and in a matter of a few days, delivered an outstanding work product. I couldn't be more pleased.

My resume writer was fantastic. She was able to turn my very blah resume into a very good resume. I had been searching with my old resume for 4 months and never heard anything back from any of the companies I applied with. Within the first week of using my new resume, I had interviews with three different companies, and I accepted a new job within 3 weeks after that. I very much appreciate the help my resume writer and About Jobs provided to me.

I had been looking for a job for about 6 months with no success. So I researched resume writing services and after speaking to Don Goodman and describing my situation I felt comfortable that they could provide a resume that would produce results. Well I was right! After filling out the questionnaire (which is a great exercise in itself as it made me remember things that I had not thought about) I had a telephone interview with my writer and received a first draft. I was very impressed as it not only positioned me appropriately, but it was attractive and easy to read. After one revision I approved it and they then prepared my LinkedIn profile. Right away I noticed that I was getting a big increase in LinkedIn views and in the first 2 weeks, I had 2 interviews scheduled. In short, I got the kind of job I was seeking along with a nice 15% salary increase. Everybody who saw the resume commented on how good it was and one recruiter even said it was one of the best he has seen. There are a lot of resume writers out there but I think that gotthejob.com is the best. Thanks to Don and his team I am looking forward to a great new job.
