confusing placement test: just tried out the 7 day trial - first they want a placement test, which is fine, BUT: this is most confusinbg. whoever wrote the user interface must have been a high school student trying out how to do that. useless. seems no way to go back and redo the test, at least seems impossible to find how to get back to that. waste of time.

The app and website really need improving. I like the idea of Glossika, but, the playback glitches. This happens on the app and any web browser. Example source, what I hear: "....... eather was nice today." Target "....empo estava bom hoje." The first bit of the sentence is silent. This really sucks. Because I'm trying to listen to the source and think what it's supposed to be in Portuguese but I can't if I only know half the sentence. Also, when I'm biking to work the app or website freezes so I'm biking along in silence and have to stop, take off my gloves, open my jacket, take out my phone and restart it. And this is so frustrating I end up in a bad mood which is definately not good for learning. I'm learning Portuguese from English.

Potentially a great resource. I'm a firm believer that repetition is the key to language learning, repeated exposure. I tried Glossika twice, it was a terrible user experience, so I cancelled. I fully believe in the method, so a year later, hoping the technical issues had been solved, I subscribed again. Just as bad as before, so I cancelled again
