I was flat on my back on a boat in Australia - I called Global Rescue-they said it would be a week before they could get me. The ONLY time I TRIED to use the service

I would like to sincerely thank Global Rescue team for the swift support provided during my recent expedition to Aconcagua in Argentina. Due to a medical condition, I was requested to be evacuated immediately and Global rescue team acted swiftly by sending over an helicopter, and got me to the hospital safely; they even continued to follow up for next few days to check if I am doing OK. Fabulous experience and we've been with Global Rescue for years. They run a first class medical ops' desk and they've helped me in Patagonia, interfacing with my Mayo doctors, etc. Super cool service. Just do it.
