The current leadership of GG is dysfunctional. One in particular is toxic and the board refuses to hold him accountable. The ED receives a 6-figure salary while the on-the-ground missionaries are shamed for not raising enough donations AND have 10% of their income taken by GG. The original vision and familial support system changed after the founder left and is now heavily focused on performance, numbers, and money. There are much better ministries out there if you want to work cross-culturally with diaspora communities.
