The people were unlike anyone I’ve ever met before. They were so amazing and driven. I learned what true passion looks like. Give makes it possible to experience the world on such a deeper level.

I had an eye opening experience in Nicaragua interacting with the community members and children. It is truly an incredible opportunity to get to see how other people live and see where their goals are oriented. To get the chance to help support them in achieving their own community goals is what made my trip so special, and just simply being there experiencing all that they had to offer.

The time I spent in Hawai'i was a transformative experience. Because of GIVE and the guides, I had the opportunity to not only explore but learn and broaden my perspective of what community means and the breathtaking relationships that are Hawai'i. Looking forward to my next trip!

Amazing experience and amazing guides

My experience with GIVE was life changing. Everything about it was special and unique and different from anything else I have done. All the local guides are incredible people and learning from them about their culture is very moving. Also seeing the impact your work has, in the classroom and agriculture plot, makes you feel like you are actually making a difference.

My GIVE trip exceeded all expectations I had going into it. Being so immersed in the culture and getting to know so many locals was something I’d never get to do traveling by myself. This trip was not only eye opening but perspective changing. Besides how amazing the trip itself was, I made lifelong friendships with other volunteers. In just two weeks we really became a family and I’m so grateful for the people who were brave and open enough to take a chance on GIVE. I would recommend everyone go on a GIVE trip because you will leave feeling like you made a difference and motivated to bring positive changes home with you. There are truly no negatives to these trips.

GIVE made this experience so stress free and walked me through everything from the time I submitted my application to when I arrived back at home! As soon as I landed in Zanzibar I was welcomed with open arms and felt at home my entire stay. The best part of the trip though is spending time with the locals and learning about their culture! I had absolutely fantastic guides (both local and international) who I felt like I could go to at any time. I 100% recommend traveling with GIVE (especially to Zanzibar) if you’re someone who has a passion for helping other, learning more about the world around them, and traveling sustainably.

Becoming a global citizen and get to know the Hawaiian culture was magical, our advisors teaching us how the community can work together really opened my eyes.
