This product is garbage and every time I contact the rep with a question they tell me to use AI or ChatGPT. It is a bad investment and it is not supported. Rep is snarky and obnoxious.

Givebacks is extremely disappointing. Please consider using a different service if you want to run a charity event. Every time a donor wants to donate to your charitable cause, they will be charged around a 10% "processing" fee. This even contradicts Givebacks' mission statement: "We’re creating a world where it’s easy to give back to causes you care about, without spending extra money, minutes, or mental load." I guess "spending extra money" doesn't include their ~10% processing fees. Want to donate $200? Sorry, you need to pay a fee of $21.73. Want to donate $150? Sorry, that will be an extra $16.37 fee. Honestly baffling.

My children's school used Givebacks (formerly MemberHub) to manage donations for a fundraiser. I've taken part in many online fundraisers over the years and never encountered problems like those with Givebacks. The largest problem with Givebacks is that the company can't seem to manage donations correctly. Multiple people donated money to this fundraiser, and only some of their donation was correctly allocated. The rest just... disappeared somewhere. The donors received email confirmation that their donations had been processed -- for the correct amounts -- but only part of their donations actually showed up in the fundraiser accounts. What's even more disturbing is that when we reached out to the company for assistance, their support staff could only "find" some of the donations. As if that weren't enough to discourage anyone from using Givebacks, the user experience for managing fundraiser profiles is horrendous. There's no quick link to the donation page from anywhere in the account (hopefully you saved it when you first created it) and the shopping cart doesn't work correctly. Adding multiple items in separate tabs, while logged in, doesn't work... only one of the items will show up in the cart. This happened for multiple people. An app like Givebacks should be able to meet two very basic expectations: (1) make it easy for people to donate to fundraisers, and (2) don't lose any of the money. Givebacks fails on both accounts.
