Uploading scan images seem to be a challenge within the organization, for some reason it could not properly identify my drivers license expiration date, and a couple other things, the process was very cumbersome, and took twice as long as necessary for me personally

We purchased our leased vehicle back in March. Still waiting for our title and plates. Being told NJ can take up to 120 days. For this reason I feel it would have been better to purchase through the dealer.

This process took way too long. I scanned and returned all documents immediately upon receipt and I don't know what was going on at Mode in the meantime. I believe it would have been quicker to just go to a dealer.

The customer service was terrible. First, I applied because it said I qualified for a lower interest rate, my credit score was way higher than the range on the site, but they refused to honor that rate. Next, they bumped the term longer to 72 months. I called and was told I’d get a call back that day and never got one. I ended up going on LinkedIn to find corporate level employees and then finally got matters addressed. I can’t even believe this is a subsidiary of GM, whom my father was with for 37 years before his retirement. It was a terrible experience until corporate got customer service to respond.

Easy to use 👍 The leasing arm or GM financial has no communication with Mode in my case, charging me fees and more; I’ve never missed a payment; Got emails and fees because they had no line of site to what the Mode team was doing; spent over 45 minutes on hold with GM financial to straighten this out and finally had to hang up because no one would help.

Impressed with the easinesses of the process. Impressed with the new lower rate and payments.
