Garner Health is a technology company on a mission to transform the healthcare economy and deliver high-quality and affordable care for all. Our goal is to change how our healthcare system works at its core. Using a new approach to data science and novel financial incentives, we help patients identify the highest-quality doctors and help doctors improve how they practice medicine. We seek to change the economics of healthcare so that providers thrive by practicing the best medicine, not by performing more invasive procedures.Garner uses one of the nation's most robust medical datasets, covering over 60 billion medical records from 320 million patients, and over 550 proprietary clinical metrics to identify the best doctors in the nation. Garner then creates meaningful financial incentives for patients to see these providers. When members use Garner to find a Top Provider, Garner can reimburse their out-of-pocket costs, including copays, office visits, medical tests, and surgeries. With Garner Assistant, members can find Top Providers who are in-network, available, and nearby, understand their benefits, and book appointments, with a dedicated concierge team available along the way.Today, more than 800 employers trust Garner to help over 2.5 million people get better care. Employers see 12% lower plan costs on average, employees pay 80% less out-of-pocket to see the best doctors, and Garner has saved employers over $1 billion to date.

There is a poor line of communication. Much rather talk to someone than to text on app.

I find that a lot of my physicians that we have history with and our critical to our care aren’t “approved” providers. Extremely frustrating.

Well, what's the point of this crap if I have to spend thousands befer you start to give a little back? The damage is already done, am I supposed to appreciate it?

This is a very cumbersome website. It takes a very long time to get reimbursements. I would NOT recommend this to future employers.

My experience with Garner Health has been disappointing. While the concept is appealing, the process has been much more complicated than expected. One of my biggest frustrations is that if an approved physician refers me to another provider, that provider must be added to my care team before the service is performed. If that step is missed—even though the referral came from an approved doctor—the reimbursement or credit toward my deductible is denied. That feels like an unnecessary technicality that places the burden on the patient rather than supporting continuity of care. The reimbursement process is also cumbersome. It isn’t easy to initiate a reimbursement request, and even after meeting my deductible, I can’t clearly see what expenses are eligible for reimbursement or where I stand. Greater transparency would make the program much easier to use. I will say that the Garner Health concierge team has been helpful whenever I’ve contacted them. Unfortunately, needing to involve a concierge to resolve routine issues adds another layer of hassle that shouldn’t be necessary. Overall, Garner Health has potential, but the administrative complexity and lack of transparency have made my experience more frustrating than beneficial.

My family Dr is approved for my insurance but not for Gardner I have been seeing him for the last 4 years. I don’t want your Gardner approved Dr due to I would have to start over with him learning about my body problems and my health issues.

Have not received any reimbursement from Garner despite the fact that I have over $5000 in medical debt that I am paying back.
