I really like my garbage man and give him a bottle of water every week and give them something special on Garbage Man Day.

Important event! This event helps call attention to a suite of services that are very important to environmental health, but that often go un-noticed. Our lives are improved immeasurably by sanitation services and it's extremely important to recognize the people who make it possible.

How can you overstate the importance of waste removal? Without garbage men, we would look like the movie Idiocracy.

I planning on baking cookies to give to my garbage man. It think it's great that there has finally been a specified day to give our thanks to these men and women. They are very reliable and friendly. My garbage man is always willing to go the extra mile. Thank you Arwood Waste and all garbage men and women.

We are so thankful for our Garbage Man. He has shown kindness, many times, when I know he must be on a tight schedule. I actually wondered the other day if there was a thing like Garbage man day. I was so excited to see this and will now make sure to recognize and show our appreciation to our Garbage Man by picking up a bag of Lindor chocolates from Costco and give to him with a note the next time we see him.
