Hello, Gainrep is a platform designed to simplify the process of obtaining professional endorsements. Our users can request endorsements from their contacts, including via email. However, simply signing up does not automatically trigger any endorsement requests. To send requests, users must take several deliberate steps: provide explicit consent, check the box labeled “I confirm and authorize Gainrep to send invitations to my contacts on my behalf,” and then click the appropriate button to proceed. If you haven’t completed these steps and still noticed invitations being sent, please let us know so we can investigate further. If you’ve accidentally invited your contacts, you can stop any future invitations by visiting the My Network page. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Hello, We’re sorry to hear about your negative experience with our professional recommendations platform. We’d like to mention that just signing up doesn’t lead to sending invites. Instead, to send invites, it’s required to perform several actions, including expressing explicit consent, marking the checkbox “I confirm and authorize Gainrep to send invitations to my contacts on my behalf,” and finally pressing the appropriate button. If you haven’t performed the actions above, please let us know, and we’ll conduct an investigation. If you have accidentally invited your contacts, you can stop all further invites on the “My Network” page. Apologies for the inconvenience.
