Much more natural than I expected
I’ve had the chance to trial Futuro AI and was genuinely surprised by how natural the assistant sounded. AI phone agents are normally quite easy to spot after a few seconds, usually because of the pauses or slightly scripted answers, but this felt much closer to an ordinary conversation. It handled the back and forth well without that awkward sense that you were waiting for a bot to catch up. What interested me most was that it could do more than simply take a message. The assistant can be given its own tone and personality, screen unwanted calls and connect with Cal.com to book meetings during the conversation. My own phone use is fairly light, but it didn’t take long to see how useful this could be for a business where a missed call might mean losing a customer. I can also see the appeal for anyone using their personal mobile for work and wanting to filter spam without sending genuine callers into a voicemail black hole. Brandon and his team have been excellent to deal with as well. They reply quickly, understand the technology properly and are clearly willing to shape the setup around the business rather than hand everyone the same generic assistant. As with any AI handling real calls, I’d keep an eye on it initially and refine the instructions as it encounters different situations, but my experience with it so far has been very positive.
