Complete trash. Their app on the PS4 is completely broken, they know yet they don't care. I know it's only $6 a month but when you can't even use their service then you're paying for nothing. Their customer support couldn't care less about you and your problems either. Just Google your shows like everyone and spare yourself from dealing with such a garbage company.

So I signed back up to Funimation after previously stopping my subscription a couple of years ago so I could watch the new season of My Hero Academia. Unfortunately not a single one of the problems I previously had with the service have been fixed, not only that......I couldn't even stream the show I wanted to watch on over half the occasions I tried. List of problems I had: - Apple TV app does not work. It took over 5 attempts to log in. When I managed it got to the main screen but no episodes or information would load beyond that - PS4 app does not work. After entering login info it never managed to load anything - iOS app, the most successful of the lot but still not functional. For a start on 3/5 attempts to watch My Hero Academia, the season list refused to load, the app just froze trying to load it for eternity, other shows seemed to be able to load while this happened but it was overall hit and miss. Even after I finally managed to draw blood from a stone and get the episodes to play the quality was all over the place, my position in the episodes didn't save and generally the loading times were atrocious. When you sit down after a long week and just want to chill out and watch a couple of shows there is nothing worse than to being met with an ungodly amount of frustration trying to do something so simple as watch a stream as your tea goes cold. Quite frankly in 2019 this is completely unacceptable. I want to support the industry and I want to support shows but when the legal streaming services and sites quite literally do not work, I'm left with very little option other than to stream the shows from unlicensed sites and the blame for that lost revenue lies solely with Funimation.

I went to buy a bunch of anime off them and once I receive It, I will NEVER buy from them again. They charged me twice for the same purchase. When I brought this to their attention they were rude and honestly gaslighting me. They tried to say it was only a preauthorized payment, and that the full amount didn’t go through. I had sent them my bank statements and explained that I had been on the phone with my bank whom told me that they had indeed CHARGED me. Funimation tried to tell me they hadn’t when my statements and the representatives from the bank confirmed. Will never buy from them again, their customer service is rude and insincere. Do not buy off their site, you’re better off getting anime off eBay or amazon honestly.

Everytime I try and use Funimation on any platform it doesn't work. Can't even sign into the PS4 app. Its been months since the first time I tried to use Funimation and these issues still aren't fixed. Thankfully there are streaming sites out there that do a better job of providing Funimation content than Funimation themselves! 😆

By far worse customer service I have dealt with. I love DBZ but man no wonder people buy stuff from else where. Digital codes dont even work, vudu or ultraviolet (which no longer exist) they will NOT so anything basically tell you too bad. Wont be buying anything directly from them. I would advise you if you want something with digital content research if people have had issue with that product. I found out too late and threw away $100. Thanks funimation for beign the worse customer service.

Funimation's voice actors hate their fans and think it's ok not to report child abuse in the state of Texas for more than 10 years without filing a police report. They should look up the "Mandatory child abuse reporting law", which states they are required to report it within 48 hours of suspecting it. Maybe look that stuff up the next time you accuse someone of child abuse, and claim you were a witness to it after 10+ years on Twitter, yeah?

Funimation is the worst, I'm all for supporting content you enjoy but there service and support team is a joke, some of the most incompetent people I've ever had to deal with, really just use crunchy roll

An absolute joke. I signed up to this service so that I could download a few episodes because I’m travelling and won’t have access to the internet very often. Anyway I try to download a few episodes and it’s a dreadfully slow process made worse by the stupid app layout. I went to play the only episode that managed to download and I get 4 minutes in before an error pops up meaning I cannot play the episode even though I have downloaded it. Cancelled my subscription. Never going with this service again it’s an absolute scam.
