Streaming is terrible anime is something to binge Funimation doesn't allow that ability at all you have to always change to the next episode after every single one. Least favorite streaming service there is highly would not recommend.

Get it together Funimation. I don't understand how one of the top Anime streaming services in the world has an app that is complete garbage. The layout is ugly, the controls have gone beyond clunky to nigh unusable. The autoplay function works about 1/3 of the time, every episode requires buffering every 3 minutes (and I'm at 600Mbps). The app crashes at least once every time I use it, and for some reason the 'Watch Next' function just doesn't work. If I click on it the app tells me that content is "for premium subscribers only" (which I am...) and makes me search for the show, navigate to the season and episode manually, and select the episode in order to keep watching... Like seriously, what kind of company can back an app like that without releasing any updates to improve it and think that people will still pay for it? I am going to cancel my subscription, which means I'll have to move to illegal methods of finding/watching Anime, which I don't even want to do. I'd much rather support these artists that I respect and love, but Funimation's service is so pathetically terrible that it is literally unusable. Funimation, you are doing a disservice to the art form that inspired you to to be a company in the first place. Its time to seriously rethink your priorities.

Worst experience ever, im actually surprised they offer a free trial because it gives way too much time for people to realize that the app on ps4 doesn't even open. I started my trial, got on the app, watched exactly 7 mins of one episode, and the app crashed causing me to never be able to open it again. Tried closing it out, restarting ps4, deleting and reinstalling the app, nothing worked. Immediately canceled my subscription. How can you expect anyone to pay for this? Its laughable for a company that's been doing this for this long...

Funimation is a company that only cares about getting their money! You are unable to watch your favorite shows due to constant buffering, freezing and or closing of the app or streaming service they"provide"! If you file a complaint, you get a message saying contact customer service, so they can find excuses as why you are unable to view your shows... i.e. your internet is to slow... (sorry im at 120Mpbs... clear you cache...its the PSN (Playstation Network) issue... the list goes on and on... NEVER THEIR FAULT!! Funimation makes millions if not billions, you would think they would have better servers, lol.

I was so excited for all the English dubbed Anime but you can’t get through many episodes without the app crashing, or skipping episodes when you’re on auto run, I paid the $7.99/month and put up with it a while, trying to contact the developers to see if it was just a bug but the contact email they give you is a no reply email you can’t get through on, you can’t download episodes as was promised they take days and keep stopping the download when you exit the app. So after getting super frustrated and wanting to end my paid subscription, I went to the main website, cause there’s no way to on the app, it tells you to go to iTunes, the link of course doesn’t work, so after extensive research, found an email I could actually use, and asked them to stop the subscription themselves. I’ll be angry about them for a long time. Oh also, paying for the subscription you get a discount off their Funimation store that has Anime themed stuff, but only a handful of things available. Worst web experience ever.

I recently tried the Premium feature on Funimation's steaming service. There are multitudes of problems with the video player. My quality settings reset after every episode, my language settings reset if I go to a different series, or if I reload the page I'm on. Reloading is needed fairly often, as the player seems to have problems registering when it is paused or not, causing the play button to malfunction. The quality of their server side streaming is also terrible. My internet is currently at ~120Mbps per Ookla speed tests, and I'm having to buffer a 1080p video every three minutes or less. I don't understand how a 6$ a month service can function more poorly than illegal streaming services, let alone other top streaming sites like Crunchyroll or Youtube. All in all, Funimation is far away from being a "Premium" service in any sense of the word. *Edit- Just had to add that the "Next episode" button seems to only work about 25% of the time.

If there is anything lower than 1 star they deserve that. They have poor policy to back shipping damaged items. Just cant pack or pick a brand new item. I was give a damaged item and packing was a joke. Everything came damaged and you have to send your item back for a refund. They messed up and you have to clear their mess. How awesome is that ?

Yuh so, You dont have good anime. Not a single show i watch Beastars, jojo's bizarre adventure and BNA, Brand new animal. If you had those and a better interface, id consider paying for this. But was a mistake and a total waste of money. Buggy, slow, hard to navigate menus and just too overhyped.
