We recently hiked the Vogelsang loop in Yosemite with Four Season Guides, our second trip with the company. As someone who has trekked with plenty of different guides and companies, I honestly cannot say enough good things about Four Season Guides - they are just the best. Incredibly knowledgeable, safety-oriented and just great people. Our guide for this trip, Bob, was absolutely fantastic. His deep knowledge of the area was very much appreciated, particularly as we had a somewhat flexible itinerary. He took us to some really amazing spots - gorgeous alpine lakes and meadows, summit of Vogelsang Peak and so much more - and we are so grateful for his leadership and encouragement. The food, equipment FSG provided and communications leading up to the trip were also top-notch. I can't wait to plan our next trip with Four Season Guides!

When my husband booked a Grand Canyon rim to rim trip, I had serious doubts that it would go well or be fun. Predicted temperature for our days on trail ranged from 93-110 degrees, and we had to carry everything for the 4 day trip. Even though I am a hiker, this sounded miserable! Our guide Matt, was funny & encouraging, & basically gave a short course on the Grand Canyon. He never rushed the group, he shared many tales of his personal hiking, he made amazing meals, and kept us out of the heat as much as possible-Matt’s fund of knowledge made this an amazing experience. Even though I went reluctantly, by the end of the trip I was already dreaming about making a return trip with Four Seasons Guides!

Celebrated my 50th birthday with a 4-day rim-to-rim Grand Canyon hike with Four Season Guides and could not be any happier that we did. Guide Matt was absolutely incredible - from interesting and funny Grand Canyon stories & geology to delicious meals and comfortable campsites. We experienced many sides of the Grand Canyon that most tour companies miss. Will be using Four Season Guides for all future adventures in the GC, Yosemite and in between!

This was my first ever backpacking trip and my third visit to Yosemite / Half Dome and I have nothing but great things to say about Four Season Guides. Dave was very communicative and quick to answer any questions we had. All of the gear they supplied was clean and easy to use. Bob was an excellent guide for our Half Dome trek from start to finish and everything about the trip far exceeded my expectations. I can't recommend Four Season Guides enough - and I look forward to my next adventure with them!

We've been lucky enough to use Four Season Guides many times now and it's always top notch. Matt, our guide, has a real love for his job and it comes through every day on the trip. The only thing he possibly loves more than his job is squirrels and luckily there are a lot of them in the great outdoors. We are always treated extremely well when we use this company and are looking forward to the next trip. I would also like to add that during these times of uncertainty, Four Season Guides goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is being safe at all times by keeping masks on when applicable and by preparing food using gloves and proceeding in a safe and extremely clean format.

I just came back from my 5th trip with Four Season Guides, and I cannot recommend them enough! This past trip was a 6 day/5 night backpacking trip in Yosemite National Park. It was my 3rd backpacking trip with the company, and it is definitely the way to go. Especially if you are new to backpacking and want to make sure you like it before investing in your own gear. I love that I don't have to worry about bringing my gear, AND I don't have to think about the logistics of food or where I will be camping each night. We were truly able to relax and enjoy the trip.

Overall it was a really good trip. The guide did everything he could to make sure each participant maximized the opportunity for a real back country experience. He was very professional, courteous and experienced. Not much more you could ask for in a trip of this type.

Just completed another fantastic backpacking adventure with Four Seasons guides. Once again, Four Seasons did not disappoint. They continue to "hit it out of the park." We were in Yosemite starting in Curry Village and worked our way up, up up to Yosemite Falls, Eagle Peak, North Dome and back country of Snow Creek. Views were fantastic. This was our fifth backpacking trip with Four Seasons over the past 10 years. Our continued choice to use Four Seasons is a demonstration of the awesome experience they provide to the customer. Four Seasons has provided our family experiences from the Grand Canyon, Yosemite and Escalante Grand Staircase. Four Seasons provides well trained, professional, personal guides and our Yosemite guide (Jeremy) was no exception.
