Bought a deck on Amazon from this…
Bought a deck on Amazon from this company, never opened the package, they have little stickers on the package so they can tell if the package has been opened if it is returned, I returned the exact deck they sold me, then they are saying the deck was swapped, except I didn’t own a deck like this one, never have so they don’t give refunds on items they sell I guess, but sold me a used deck and didn’t even know it. Buyer beware if purchasing off Amazon, after my issue with them, I get scammed but they say they are combatting the scams but hey batters up. They hit a home run with my money. Out 437.00 dollars. Moving on.

Hello again. To repeat what we have already said in our messages on Amazon, the unit that you returned was validated both by Amazon and Kenwood as a unit that was purchased from Car Toys, not us. Kenwood has a system in place to protect both the seller and the customer (and therefore their brand) from fraud. In fact it's to verify what happened in situations exactly like this. The serial number of the unit in the box that you returned to us is not the same as the unit we returned: again, it was from Car Toys. This is a common scam that we encounter regularly which is why Kenwood has the serial number system in place, to combat it. Now if you ended up purchasing two different units and returned a different one back to us on accident, please reach out to us again like you did before and we can work with you on resolving the issue for a refund. We are a Kenwood preferred online retailer as you can see here: https://locator.kenwood.com/usa/car/. It is a very rigorous and continual process to become a preferred online retailer and we have been in business for almost 50 years--we are not some faceless retailer in it for a quick sale or to mislead people. Thank you! Best Regards, Freeman's Car Stereo
