Great Event - Escape from Fort Desoto I had a good time!
This company does an excellent job organizing these Triathlons and Duathlons. The awards are better than any other event, and they do not give out the same award. The bike corral is set up very nicely. Numbered and easy to find my bike. The course was well marked. I always know where I'm going because these guys don't skimp on the signage, and I like that a lot. More than just one water station. I have attended this event several times, and it always starts on time. That is a big deal. I like the after-party. They have ice-cold waters, Gatorade, and never run out! Snacks and plenty of fruit. I have done the Duathlon for the last 2 or 3 years in a row. The awards ceremony starts sooner rather than later, which is good. The timing is right on the money, because I used my Garmin watch and it was perfect!
