Hi, Ann. Thanks for your feedback. FloLogic is designed to distinguish typical water use (defined start and stop points) from leaks (water flow that starts and doesn't stop). You may need to simply adjust your settings. The default is to allow water to flow uninterrupted for 30 minutes when home, 30 seconds when away, and when that time is exceeded for the water to be shut off. You can adjust those time limits. You can also adjust the rate of flow allowed before the timer starts. Thank you for your review of FloLogic. Please know that when a sprinkler line comes from a pipe installed down stream of FloLogic, you can install a relay which informs FloLogic when your sprinkler system is calling for water, sending FloLogic into a bypass mode, allowing that water use. With this rather simple connection, you can keep the timer for constant flow at ideal allowances--typically 30 minutes when you're home and 30 seconds when you're away. Of course if a sprinkler tees off from the water line before the FloLogic smart valve is installed, this is a moot point. Give us a call if we can help you with this in any way. 1-877-356-5644.
