UPDATED BELOW: Please do yourself a favor a DO NOT BUY this. The valve works mostly Ok, but the connection technology is REALLY BAD. I had a connect modelu that stopped working when I upgraded the modem in my home network. AFter months of fruitless tries they told me I needed a Gateway module, another $200, only o find out that I also need to buy another connect module, another $300. Total scam for a very medicre technology. I am stuck with an average valve that I whish I neved bought. Save yourself the trouble. UPDATE: customer service reached out and offered a Connect+Gateway combo for free. I agreed to return the old connect and allow them to charge me for the Gateway I had already purchased and had sent for return. All seems to be working fine now. I am glad they decided to do the right thing. This combo seems to work better as it was easy to set up and so far is working as expected. Still I don't know why add another box to the setup, but grateful the the CS response.

Fabulous product. We've had it for about a year and it has actually gone off a few times -- all legitimate, such as someone leaving a bathroom faucet running by accident. It's never turned off our water when there was not a legitimate problem. I'm deducting one star only because I can't specify the type of pre-alert I get before the system shuts off my water. I have the iOS app set up to give me a 5-minute warning before shutting off the water, but the warning sound (if any?) is so quiet that I don't notice until after the water has been shut off. I'd like to be able to assign one of my alarm sounds, or anything that will make a lot of noise so I notice it on my phone before the water is shut off. Or better yet, receive a text message and/or email in addition. Also, I saved $1000 per year on my homeowner's insurance premium after installing this device (it's a big, expensive house.)

This is an excellent product, preferred by CHUBB home insurance, especially for homes on Cape Cod. You need to hire an electrician and a plumber to install - this fact is not known until the plumber arrives and cannot install without installation of associated electrical. The remote access works well, and the mechanism can be paired with alarm systems. Get it!

UPDATE 12/16/19 My plumber figured out that the new water regulator (placed on the system on the same day as the flologic) was defective. Once replaced, our hot water pressure was restored to normal. Only reason review is not 5 stars, is because I STILL can’t get the flologic hooked up to my WiFi even with tech support help. Will try that again another day I think. UPDATE 12/6/19 Since writing this review, I have spoken to someone in the company. He was very responsive and seemed sincerely to want to solve my problems. Some things still not working (WiFi connection, water pressure), but waiting on plumber to try to fix it next week. Tips for Flologic: App Update needed! You need to be able to MANUALLY enter your network name and pw, not just allow it to be found, during set up. Some of us have more security than that. Hardware Update Needed: Would it KILL you to have an Ethernet port on the bottom so we can bypass all this unreliable WiFi stuff?🙄 Come on. Will further update rating if the plumbers find the issue. Stay tuned. OG Review 12/2/19 Have had this thing for two months and I hate it. False alarms constantly. But worst is the way it has affected our hot water. Showers are at a reduced level of water pressure, and if any other water is turned on at the same time, even a sink somewhere else, both the sink and the shower drop to half pressure and temp goes down. Only on the hot water. If I wanted to take cold showers I’d be fine. Previously, people could take showers at the same time without noticing any drop in temperature or pressure. We have tankless water heaters. I want to rip this thing out and say to hell with the money. So angry. Oh AND it refuses to connect to my WiFi. Good times.

We have had this system for 9 years. It stopped woking and we couldn't get it to work. Flo Logic did it's best to help us. They sent us a part that was bad, but sent another part that fixed the system. We were able to do it ourselves, as we couldn't find a plumber in the Coachella Valley to work on the system . The only drawback is finding someone to work on this system.

I had the FloLogic installed in May along with the FS-500 Flow Switch. I also had it integrated with my OMNI home control security panel. Everything is working perfectly. There was an issue originally with a circuit board but it was promptly replaced. I also installed a 100 foot extension cable. My only concern with it is that the end that connects to the control panel was very unsecure - easy to break the wires if not careful. All is working as intended - it discovered a toilet leak and outside faucet leak immediately after installation. The FS-500 works perfect as well. It allows my whole house humidifier to continue to fill its water reservoir and overrides the leak detection system. When the new circuit board is available to allow complete home control I will raise my rating to 5 stars. I was originally told that would be end of June but to date have not heard anything more about it. I know but my home security professional installer is anxiously waiting for it because his demand for installing the FloLogic system will increase if that is available.

Good unit, bit pricey. Have had it in two of my last houses. Gives piece of mind. Issues are as follows: 1) Unit needs the backup battery to work. Not smart design - system can be taken offline by the battery failing. The chances of my power being out when I have a leak are much lower than the battery failing, not being replaced and a leak happening. 2) False positives - have had the sensor fail and it looks like the unit is working when it isn't
