Fit3D maintains 3,500+ scanners in 74 countries. We provide an easy and accurate way for business owners to validate their programs and scale member revenue. Many of the negative reviews you’ll see are from former free users unhappy about our move to a paid subscription model. Since 2022, Fit3D has required all customers to pay a monthly service fee—similar to a phone plan, there is both hardware and a service layer involved. As service costs have increased, we've phased out legacy free access in favor of a consistent paid model, which is now standard across the SaaS industry.Current Customers: Please let us know if you have any comments about your current service that we can answer. If you have an active ticket you'd like us to address, please email us at [email protected]. Leaving a review here to get our attention will take longer than simply emailing us for an escalation. Thank you,Patrick DonnellyGeneral Manager, Fit3DJuly 2025

I purchased the equipment on oct 2021. I was sold the machine with hopes of being able to scan my clients unlimited. About 6 months ago i was being told i have to pay a fee for it. However a letter from patrick told me not ti worry my machine will not become a expense paper weight as he called it. Now nov 1 2023 im being told as of dec 2023 that is what i will own they will no longer support my machine because of cost. I was sold a piece of equipment under false sales practices. Think 100xs over and buy the inbody machine. Dont listen to the fake promises of fit3d

Don't Buy
When I purchased, it was months to get and they were slow to ship. Now, forced to purchase a subscription in order to use. I would not get this unit. Better units available and not worth the price.

DO NOT BUY FIT3D
DO NOT BUY FIT3D
Save your money. This company promised that I would never pay a subscription fee. Now they are demanding that we buy a service plan and our equipment will no longer work after December of this year. The subscriptions are from $50-$250 monthly. So basically, I will have a $10k paper weight.
Also they have the worst customer support. I have waited 4 weeks for my equipment to be fixed and that’s happened multiple times. It’s always a computer issue on their end. You have to email back and forth for weeks before getting it resolved when a phone call could have had the problem fixed in minutes.
Seriously, do not buy their BS.

Buyer Beware
For 10K you should have the machine actually work- the owners are forcing machine owners to buy the new operating system in order to have the machine, that has been paid in full, to operate. This really seems like bate and switch. Ive owned the machine for 3 years, one during covid, so no clients. SCAM- look for a different company. Customer service takes 5-7 days to respond to a service ticket request as well. They must be having a lot of issues if they are that swamped. Pass.

I have had issues with the system not connecting.
I have had issues with the system not connecting at all. My internet is up and running fine, as it has the past 6 yrs. The equipment has been down for over two weeks now and I have had emailed and created several tickets. I get asked a question, I respond and then nothing. Silence. Zero Help fixing. I have called the customer service line and got the support line but it's busy. Constantly busy. No answer. Not ever. I paid THOUSANDS of dollars for this machine and I expect good customer service. I have lost money because of this issue. I do not recommend purchasing this equipment. I will be looking at InBody next. Basically, I am having the same issue with this machine and with customer service as most of the people on here. If it looks and sounds like a duck. It's a duck.

Hi Jackie,
I see that Norma wrote you back on last Wednesday, but we were not able to reply to your emails for the last few days. I'm sorry about that.
How about I schedule a call with you tomorrow?
As a small note on the definitions, a connection error in this case isn't a wifi issue, but about the laptop physically not being connected to the unit. But I also see that you said you tried that.
On your larger note, we need to be more responsive. That's something we are working on as a company & we literally made some new hires last week to help with that.
I"ll drop you an email. But I just wanted to say I've seen your note & we can do better.
I hope we can wrap this up for you this week.
Apologies again, Patrick

I came in for one reason to lose a few inches the advertising, guaranteed. That did not happen. And, my money was WASTED.
I came in for one reason, only. To lose a few inches off my belly/thighs. And that was the guarantee on the advertising I read. I am only 109 lbs. After my scan I was advised I have a low lean muscle mass. Avril explained by increasing protein and doing this light therapy ( 6 sessions ) this would be achieved, I was given a menu idea to help. I told staff I could not afford 12 session but wanted results, I asked if 6 would work, coming in every few weeks. I was told yes, as long as I increased protein. Neither of them mentioned I had to come in twice a week. Plus no one mentioned the term R& R plan. Being a low income senior on a budget coming in for losing inches and with absolutely NO need for any of the so called benefits of R&R. I would have not wasted money on that plan. I would have thanked them for the scan and left. Happy. My last scan showed NO real results, NO benefits. Avril sent me an offensive, completely false fact email and had the nerve to say I chose the R&R plan, and I cancelled appointments ( I HAD A BAD CASE OF COVID, with complications. Of course I could not keep those appointments. Clearly customer satisfaction or having a customer have positive result is not their objective. It feels like this Senior was taken advantage of and I was ripped off of a substantial amount of money ( for me ). That is my truth.! 100%.

Hi Gloria,
I'm sorry to hear about your experience. And, I hope that you have recovered from your Covid situation.
I don't know if this helps, but we are with the scanner hardware company, not the place where you got your treatments done. We made the measuring device & sold it to that business. But, we likely were not the one's who worked with you personally.
You seem like a nice person, & I think I would have remembered you.
But I'm sorry you had a bad experience there.
So, if your review is based on the fact that your scans were bad, totally fair.
But if your review is about their treatments not doing what you think they should have, perhaps that is meant for another business page?
I hope you have a good weekend. Take care.

It's a piece of Junk and has horrible customer service
If you purchase a piece of equpiment for thousands of dollars you would think it would last more than a few years. Its needed fixed multiple times, has crashed and needed serviced atleast twice a year. Now its not even turning on and this is the response below from them. For a gym to invest this kind of money into a piece of equipment and not even having working enough to get a return in invest I would run and run fast away. Let me add it took over a month for me just to get this response.........not even an alternative solution or phone call............ Unfortunately, I see that you are operating with an out-of-warranty version of the ProScanner (V4) that our team no longer provides support for. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience but we are not able to assist further in this case. Please note that this means we can no longer provide technical support, troubleshooting, or hardware parts for these systems as we no longer have the parts available and/or software/firmware for updates. I truly apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
You will love the reply below where they compare this multi-thousand dollar investment to an old iphone. Let emphasize its only 6 years old....

Hi Brittany,
I'm happy to look into your ticket, but I don't see any Brittany M's in our system. I am fairly sure you are a client or work with our system.
Our V4 systems went out around 2019-2020. So depending on when you got your system, it is true that we no longer have replacement parts for those tablets & some V4 parts. Similar to an old iPod or other OEM products, we can't repair them after a while. But, we are not an iPod.
That being said, we don't want to leave you high & dry.
I'm trying to find your account & I will message you to get your email address in the meantime.
To make one small correction which we have recently changed – We are happy to provide support to your user, coach, and admin accounts, but we do not stock hardware components in the case that your service request requires an RMA for hardware over a certain age. But we typically do offer a path for discounts on newer models if there is no other option.
Like I said, I'll send you an email.
-Patrick
Update: Brittany, I have sent you a follow-up email. But, I did want to state that 6 years old is really old for any computer product. We're happy to provide you a path to our newer products at a discount, but we don't have an excess of replacement computer parts from 6 years ago for replacements. I apologize for that.

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service, they don't even give you a contact number for technical supports!! they give you ticket online and not able to resolve a problem at all.
we as a business regret to add such a service to our facility with 0% technical support. our clients waiting for their scan and they don't even send a useful response.
Response from Fit 3DSep 11, 2023
Hi Mahtab,
I apologize for the wait from our first point of escalation prior to the Labor Day date. We had a backlog of tickets from the extended 4-day holiday weekend in the USA.
After receiving your follow-up note on 9/7, we sent you an email back on 9/8 at 10:52 am & I see you also had an email exchange today 9/11 as well. Did you also get my phone message on Friday? I hope that helps you reinstall the software.
Regardless, I agree the delay in service last week was not okay, and we are working on decreasing the SLAs after a holiday weekend.
I'll give you a follow-up call later this week to make sure the last few suggestions over email helped.
