Wonderful company to deal with.
Great US based customer service. Knowledgeable and helpful. Great company to work with. Easy ordering, very fast shipping times, quality shipment packing, good attention to detail, great (I'd say some of the best) pricing, and great quality products. Don't hesitate to order from them. I ordered some 1 1/4" ring shank hot dipped galvanized roofing nails (15° collated coils). After much research I decided I wanted our new roof to have great quality fasteners. Which in our case would be either ring shank hot-dipped galvanized (or full on 316 Stainless Steel). However we're in northeastern PA, and not anywhere near the ocean with it's higher than normal salt content in the air, so there was no point paying the premium for the 316 Stainless. Also technically 316 Stainless is a bit softer than the normal steel nails. So unless you really need ultimate corrosion resistance, or plan on using ACQ treated decking for your roof, you're better off with the hot-dipped galvanized. They are the next best thing for extreme corrosion resistance (careful not to confuse them with electro-plated nails, or powder coated, which are far inferior for corrosion resistance and pull out strength), and have extremely high pull-out and shear strength. The hot-dipped galvanized coating actually aids in higher pull out strength, even for the ring shank versions, vs say the smoother 316 Stainless. Anyway, their product page for the 1 1/4" ring shank hot dipped galvanized roofing nails says they are a direct replacement for the equivalent nails from the name brand Maze and Steelhead manufacturers. Which is fine by me because the price was half (or even less than half) of those manufacturers for a box of 7,200 nails 15° coil packed. Which I was perfectly happy with as long as they met A153-D federal requirements for hot-dipped galvanized fasteners. However to my surprise when my order arrived, it was a fully factory sealed box of name brand Steelhead nails. Order arrived very fast, within the shortest end of their original shipping estimate. They even stuck a large printed sticker on the box, with delivery instructions I asked for when placing the order on which side of my house, and which door, to drop the delivery off. For such a heavy box, it was well packed, nothing was damaged, bent or broken inside. Just a wonderful experience from start to finish. I highly recommend dealing with these guys, whether you're a pro or a DIYer.
