FarebuddiesReviews of farebuddies.com

Beware of this company- Farebuddies. They would publish a cheap flight and you will be lured to purchase it. Once you do, you will get a call saying that the ticket you purchased is restricted - meaning 0 luggage, 0 carry-on, and 0 personal item! They will make you believe that you need to add and pay a more expensive amount for the ticket (which is even higher than if you would buy directly with the airline). Here's the catch -- If you say that you want to cancel and not proceed since it is too expensive, they would then they will do their scare tactic informing you that you already purchased a non-refundable ticket so there is no way to cancel it and you will be left with no choice but to pay them with the expensive ticket. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM. They have not yet purchased the ticket from the airline so there is no reason not to cancel it if you are being asked to pay premium price. Call your bank and lock your card so these scammers won't access your account! Again, BEWARE of this dishonest practice!

I paid these $600 dollars for a flight from New York to California on American Airlines, and they never booked my flight. When I went to the airport to check in, my flight number never existed. And they sent me a fake boarding pass. Now they are not answering the phone.

Scammers . I purchased tickets to Canada. First they confirmed them. 2 weeks later they started to call me,told me that airline did not confirmed tickets and then just cancelled my tickets. Now I missed the chance to get low cost tickets and I need to pay a fortune for tickets.

Totally shady. Farebudies is a scam. They purposely mixup the entered information like last name, phone number all random so you call back and they would charge you more to correct the passenger details. A total scam I won’t recommend any one to fall for those fake low ticket prices. Better book directly with airline and save yourself the headache and embarrassment.

These people run a “bait and switch” scam. This is the second time they’ve scammed me. You buy a ticket at a great price on their website, and later they call you back and say “sorry the airline would not accept the discounted booking.” You can not get a refund they say but you can have the same flight but at a $500 dollar increase of price. Sure they try to help find something cheaper and you end up not getting what you needed and with Spirit. With the price doubled. This is criminal and they should be reported.

I cancel the ticket before isssue. But they still took my money and gave me e-ticket

Avoid at all cost. They are scammers. They don't book your tickets, instead they ask you to call them because your reservation needs attention. Then when you realize you are stuck, they try to sell you something that consider an upgrade for your ticket, like luggage etc. Whatever you will end up paying is much higher than the worst reservation and very different than what you viewed on the screen when you booked. If you fell in their trap, first cancel your credit card once you confirmed there is no charge then don't worry about them. Of course they tell you that you can't cancel which is funny because there is actually no reservation to cancel Btw, you will talk to Wilson and some other American named guys that are sitting in some scam location in India.
