After Booking the Flight with FareBuddies , Customer Service call and say we want to let you know that you don't have luggage with your booking, You have to pay extra $130. But Turkish airline give you 2 luggage for Free if you book with someone else ! horrible company and customer Service started shouting when I said no to paying extra money for luggage ! :@

Terrible experience. Not even 1 hour after booking a round trip ticket to London at a rate that was 200$ cheaper than going directly through the airline, they call and say that in order to get that rate, the ticket is Very restricted and you can’t even bring a PERSONAL ITEM, let alone a carry on, so they put me on hold to find out how much more it would be to bring anything with me, and I would have to pay $262 to bring a carry on and personal item, and if I wanted a flexible cancellation as well it would be 432$! I told him that I just wanted to cancel all together because I felt it was totally unethical to tack on so much money after they had my credit card info, and they said it would be $460 to cancel the reservation! We will be talking to our bank to fight the charges today and absolutely will NEVER use this fraudulent “company” again. Reading through other reviews, the Bad definitely out weighs the Good.

If you read some of the previous comments i delt with very similar. Lies about baggage allowances on international flights, that my tickets would be issued in 24 hours, that the airlines wont allow me to pay for extra baggage and etc. I navigated these scammers by chance. Heres what you need to know: 1) I checked my online bank balance and the transaction was NOT authorized and did NOT show up on my statement no matter how many times they told me it was authorized. They were lying. Worst case, put your card on lock or cancel it outright to prevent them from charging it before they give you the baggage charge speech. 2) Call their customer service and explain that you got a cheaper, similar or slightly higher priced flight WITH checked baggage. Thats their gimmick and how they justify their "low" prices. You will be transferred to a manager who will make sure you purchase a another equal or lesser flight then will ask you for a screenshot for confirmation by email. Then will cancel for you. Worked for me and my girlfriend. Id keep them on the phone too. Hope this helps people. It took 4-5 hours of anxiety and heartache but we got through it. Obviously just avoid them if you can.

They are total scam. They tried charging 100 extra for luggage. I called the airlines right after. When the airlines isn't doing that. They are going to threaten you that your going to get charged penalties which airlines denies of any.

BEWARE! THIS IS A BAIT AND SWITCH COMPANY!!! Bought a one way ticket from Dublin to SFO for a quoted price of $1017. I then received a call the next day telling me that the rate I paid didn't include luggage NOT EVEN carry on luggage. Who does a day trip from Dublin to SFO??!!! This was a return flight by the way so of course we have luggage to bring home from our vacation. So in order to bring luggage on my flight I had to shell out another $389. That price also included refundable ticket but I didn't have need for that. All I wanted to do was add luggage. Not sure why I couldn't just pay for the luggage piece. After that phone call I looked on delta's direct website and I could have gotten the same thing for $1158 Next, I looked on my credit card statement and found 2 charges. 1 to Delta Airlines for $1158.35 (look familiar? See above price) and another charge to Farebuddies for $247.65 So it would appear that they booked my the $1158 flight that included luggage and pocketed $247 (a steep fee). Now a travel agency can charge whatever fee they like but they should make that fee clear to the buyer instead of lying and saying that its the cost of luggage fees. This company does not deal honestly with its customers and I would avoid using them.

I was lied to by my booking agent and they would not service me or let me buy my ticket without getting the upgrade. So I'm here at the airport now waiting for my ticket looking at howuch I spent on the ticket and upgrade thinking this is too much

Got a fare from Google Flights for Alaska Airlines that was appealing so we booked it. Farebuddies immediately called us to ask us if we knew that the fare didn't allow us to carry on any bags or check any bags and tried to upsell us to a fare twice as much. Told them that we weren't aware (possibly bad on us for not reading the fine print) and would like to cancel the reservation and they told us it would be $125 cancellation penalty per person but we could avoid that for the doubled ticket price and carry bags. This was all within 10 minutes of booking the flight. Kept telling us what a good deal we were getting because going through the airline the ticket would be over $2K again not true because we had priced it out for a little over $1K on the website. They wouldnt cancel the reservation for us and passed me to a supervisor who again tried to upsell me and that the airline website price would be $3K (note first call center person said $2K so pressure is ramping up). Again I said no, I'd like to cancel and the supervisor wouldn't cancel and instead told me he would call the airline to see if I could bring bags for the same ticket price I already had and that he would put me on hold for 15-20 minutes. 55 minutes later we hung up and haven't heard from them since. The whole thing felt very scamish to us and we will NOT be doing business with Farebuddies in the future and will have to take a closer look on Google Flights who they forward our queries to.
