I tend to like my coffee medium roast. I bought dark roast pods as my boyfriend likes stronger. Unfortunately even for me, the dark roast is very weak.

The coffee is good but not as good as I expected. The video describing the history of coffee was very compelling and made sense as to the potential for freshness differences due to the length of time of being ground before use. However, I detect no discernable improvement in the taste of Fabula due to shorter time in ground form. It actually seems a little weaker than other premium ground coffees such that I tend to use more to achieve the same taste level of other brands.

I ordered one box Decaf Medium and one box of Decaf Dark. I received two Decaf Medium.

The "idea" of your product is great. I like the "no mold - freshness" and ecology of the packaging and paper K-cups. The scent of the coffee is wonderful, even before brewing, but when set the KEURIG on the "Smallest Cup" setting, it brews me a weak tasting cup...kind of like a Folger's medium grind - LOL! I was used to a Kona blend which is fuller bodied even while using the largest "Mug Setting". Luckily, I bought a bag of your ground beans, so I can adjust the amount of product, (double-up) in my refillable Stainless K-cup. I may try brewing two of your pods (one after the other) to create a stronger first cup of the day. Gary

I was looking for a more robust coffee for my morning cup but fabula has let me down, I find that Kirklands Pacific Bold is more flaverfull and robust. Fabula isn't bad it's just not more robust than Kirklands brand. A shame because after reading all about Fabula I was really looking forward to a great cup of coffee

I was looking for a coffee with a full bodied, smooth taste and aroma. This coffee was not it. We won’t be buying more.

Honestly, I was a little disappointed. I purchased the light roast, anticipating the ability to pick up flavor tones within the coffee. I was excited after watching the marketing, but unfortunately did not enjoy the 1st cup like I thought I would
