Prima, werkt goed en fijne extra’s! Je geld echt waard. Alleen jammer dat er nog geen Nederlands commentaar is ( tip Olaf& Jack :))

Geen haperingen of vastlopers. Wel af en toe tijdens de race dat de kwaliteit even minder wordt. Engels commentaar van Sky gaat ook goed. Professioneel commentaar. Ik ben tevreden.

Video is much better this year but sound quality remains pretty awful with compression artefacts causing crackling. Edit from original review, when I changed from Chrome to Firefox browser, the sound improved noticeably to now acceptable. The commentary is mediocre. I wish they still used the audio feed from Sky, which apart from Anthony Davidson constantly saying: "good point; well made" and some howlers from David Croft, is good. For pit lane commentary, Ted Kravitz is better than Sam Collins, whose technical knowledge is good but frenetic delivery is irritating.

Ben zojuist vertrokken van ViaPlay naar F1TV. En eerlijk is eerlijk, dan is F1TV een verademing. Ik had gelezen dat audio niet altijd top is en het beeld soms hapert. En dat is een beetje waar, maar na ViaPlay ben je al zo blij dat je überhaupt kan kijken en dat de Vrije Trainingen en races gewoon openen. Dus helaas nog geen 5e sterren maar wel 4. Het mooiste zou zijn als ze ook nog is Olav en Jack inhuren, dan is het top, 😃

Afgelopen weekend F1 TV aangeschaft en van een mooie wedstrijd genoten in goede kwaliteit. Helaas nog geen app voor mijn samsung smart TV. Maar via mijn mobiel prima kunnen streamen naar de google chromecast zonder enkele hapering. Hopelijk komt er snel een app voor de samsung TV. Gelukkig geen dure viaplay aangeschaft. Ik had al vernomen dat dit echt ellende zou geven.

The replay is hit and miss. Sometimes it freezes and you have to log in/out a few times. Watching it live is great. No adds, you can toggle to see performance and on board cameras. Definitely better than commercials etc on TSN

1st Qually 2022 was Ok to watch. I only wished the commentator's would ditch the 1950's style microphones they sound crap and look silly. Will see how the app ( firestick) will perform at Race day tomorrow...

My opinion last year (in 2020): I rated it 1-star "It is regularly down for the main thing it was designed for: f1 races live streams (+onbards and live timing/classification). Working during the other sessions is not enough if it always fails for the race. Amateur "pirate" streaming is 1000x more reliable and professional than this." Update after the whole 2020 season and a few races in 2021: There were a couple other races with video feed issues in 2020 but in general the experience has been better than what the first races I watched have been. I now enjoy the tool a lot and it seems much more stable. I would never go back to watch a race on TV or with the basic international feed. It is much more immersive to be able to follow the drivers you want and you see many more things happening during the race! And you can pause the stream and navigate backwards/forwards during the race now. I put 4 stars now because I can imagine more features that would yet improve F1TV like custom timing sheet and charts (if it was not a video feed) or subscribe/listen to driver radios independently of the onboard you watch.
