I ordered spare parts on car parts, I did not receive the order and wrote to them in the chat that there was no order there, they sent me to Extend, I filled out the claim, after that I received a letter that I was denied because I have to wait five days, I'm not talking about the fact that I needed the spare parts yesterday! I waited five days and went to the site to fill it out again, but the window for claims is no longer active, I wrote to them about it, to which they replied that I should write to support, I wrote to support, they replied that I should call, and I spent many days and nerves on this and did not achieve anything, these are scammers, if you want to save your time and nerves, then avoid them

Currupt and awfull company to deal with. Bought some parts from CJ Pony and paid for the shippping protection…when parts came in they were missing hardware. Both Cj Pony and Extend would not honor their policies. -0 stars is what they both deserve!

Paid for a warranty for my Dreamcloud mattress which was apparently under Extend (I think it was transferred from another company previously). I called Dreamcloud prior to calling Extend and they processed a replacement for the bed foundation that was damaged and told me to reach out to Extend but my warranty did cover the replacement mattress. When I called Extend, they told me I could only file a claim online, which I did and was instantly denied due to a defect not being covered?! Really?! Something not even caused by me wasn't covered?! Called them back and even the representative said they don't cover anything on the mattresses. Like what did I even pay for???? To be screwed?! So now I have a new base and no bed. Make that make sense. This is a horrible way to do business and neither Dreamcloud or Extend will ever get my business in the future. I will be checking on extended coverages in the future to make sure this business' name is nowhere near what I'm buying!

Do not recommend adding Extend for any kind of warranty. I had nothing but issues trying to file a claim, my claim kept "sccidentally" getting closed. I kept being asked for additional infomration which I provided only to be told it wasn't enough. It was an absolute joke and a waste of money.

Very slow process and customer support is crap. I filed a claim for a failed mattress from Mattress Warehouse. It took almost a month till I got the "money" which was actually a virtual credit card that is restricted to buying only from the original merchant (Mattress Warehouse in my case). The amount I got was much lower than the full original purchase amount, several hundred lower. When I tried to use the virtual credit card it didn't even work. I contacted customer support, and they told me to contact customer support... seriously, they did, that is not a typo. So I used the online customer support form, and they replied to "try a different browser". The most canned, auto response ever. I work in IT as a high level system admin. I have been in I.T. for over 20 years. I am pretty sure I know how to use the internetwebs. This company is a joke. Don't bother.

If zero stars was possible, that’s what this company deserves. I’m almost positive this company is a SCAM. I highly recommend you DO NOT use this company for any kind of protection, especially shipping protection! I had a package sent to me through UPS and of course UPS lost the package, took a month to find it, Extend would not do anything without a police report. UPS said for Extend to contact them so they could give me the package, Extend would NOT contact them and was not helpful in the slightest. The customer service is absolutely awful. I had to dispute the charge with my bank to get $320 back. Don’t use this company!!

Extremely frustrating experience. I paid for this service to cover my oura ring which died. The claim was finally approved to have it replaced, but I have had to jump through hoop after hoop. They finally sent a link to order the replacement and that never worked. Now Extend is saying they need to reach out to Oura for a resolution. It seems a lot of delays are built into the system to avoid holding up their end of the deal. It's been over three weeks since I filed the claim. I love my ring, but Oura needs to look for an alternative product protection provider. This is unacceptable.

Update: Since posting this review, I’ve located my Purchase Confirmation, and it clearly shows that I purchased Extend Protection (+ADH) with Accidental Damage Coverage included. What’s interesting is that after paying for accidental damage protection, filing a claim, and being denied, I’m now being told my coverage doesn’t start until after the manufacturer’s warranty expires. If that’s the case, then what exactly was I paying for during the coverage period listed on my plan? The issue isn’t that my claim was denied. The issue is that the explanation doesn’t appear to match the coverage documentation I was provided. I purchased protection for peace of mind, not a scavenger hunt between Michaels, Extend, and the manufacturer. Michaels sent me to Extend. Extend sent me elsewhere. Meanwhile, I’m left with a broken product and a protection plan that has yet to provide any actual protection. I’m happy to provide additional information, but I’d like something more meaningful than “we’re looking into it.” I’d like a clear explanation of why a plan that specifically includes accidental damage coverage was denied and the exact contract language that supports that decision. At this point, I’m not questioning whether I bought coverage. I have the paperwork. I’m questioning why the coverage I paid for seems to disappear the moment I try to use it. I am filing this complaint regarding a denied protection plan claim for a sewing machine purchased through Michael’s. I purchased the protection plan specifically because it was represented as coverage for accidental damage and product issues. Since purchasing the machine, I have experienced ongoing problems and filed multiple claims. Most recently, the shuttle latch broke off, rendering the machine unusable. When I returned to Michael’s, I was directed to the protection plan provider. When I contacted the protection plan provider, I was told to take my concerns back to the merchant. As a result, I have been caught between the retailer and the protection plan company, with neither party accepting responsibility. What is most frustrating is that I paid extra for protection that appears to provide little to no actual benefit when a claim is submitted. Instead of receiving assistance, I received a response stating that customers are responsible for understanding the contract terms, without a clear explanation as to why my claim was denied. I am requesting a detailed written explanation of the denial, including the specific contract language used to deny coverage, and I am seeking reimbursement or replacement under the terms of the protection plan I purchased. Consumers purchase protection plans for peace of mind. In my experience, this protection plan failed to provide the coverage and support that was advertised and expected.
