The worst customer support I’ve ever encountered in my life.

I've been playing for 4 years and set up my own Alliance 3 years ago. I play at least once a week. I was absent for 6 days 23 hours which is less than the 7 days that they say the Leadership will be transferred. However they transferred it anyway to someone who had only joined my Alliance 3 days before. I have messaged repeatedly with their Customer Services dept who have finally said that there is nothing they can do with an automated process. As they are the game developers I cannot comprehend how a mistake by their timing algorithms can wipe out 3 years of my hard work. If you don't pay to play they don't care. Don't touch this company - owned by Top Games Inc.

Greed is the only word that comes to mind. Customer support is not existent. They get your ticket in a few weeks and cut and past some not related resolution. If you are not ready to spend at least $20,000 I recommend to forget about this game. I spent about $600 and so sorry now that I wasted my money. And after spending that much I advanced only one notch out of 20000. And once you don't spend you are out of game. Other players who spend $1000/month get higher level keeps and you can not compete naturally. You will never be able to enjoy the game. And game designed to suck money out of you.

Das Unternehmen hat den schlechtesten Support. Es werden nur Fragen gestellt aber keine Lösung angeboten. Meiner Meinung nach minus 10 Punkte. Viel Zeit und Geld für nichts investiert.

I’ve played Evony long enough, and paid enough, to say this confidently: the game has huge problems, and the company doesn’t seem willing to fix any of them. The first red flag is customer service. Tickets go unanswered for days or weeks, and when they do respond, it’s almost always a generic template that doesn’t address the issue. When something important goes wrong, whether it’s missing points, incorrect punishments, or tech glitches, you’re on your own. For a game that relies on people spending real money, that’s unbelievable. The rules and punishments are another major problem. Terms of Service enforcement feels arbitrary, unclear, and sometimes just flat-out wrong. Players get banned, suspended, or penalized without explanation or remedy. In my case, reported issues involving account transferring, point trading, death threats, harassment and bullying, led to no punishment despite the TOS being vague and inconsistently enforced. There is no appeal structure, no transparency, and no pathway to resolution. Just silence. And here’s the worst part: none of this changes when you spend money. In Evony, even big spenders are ignored. The game feels designed to extract more spending rather than reward loyalty or effort. Bugs during events wipe out progress. Lag and crashes cost troops. Resources disappear. Customer service doesn’t care. You can spend hundreds, even thousands, and still be treated like an inconvenience. The entire structure of the game has become aggressively pay-to-win. Free players can’t compete. Low spenders give up. Medium spenders hit a wall. Big spenders burn out because support is nonexistent and value disappears into glitches and server failures. Evony could be an incredible game. Strategically, it is fun, when it works. But the combination of broken support, unbalanced monetization, technical instability, and inconsistent rule enforcement makes it feel more like a trap than entertainment. I don’t recommend investing time or money here until the developers start respecting players, communicating honestly, and enforcing rules fairly. Right now, Evony feels like a system designed to benefit the company at everyone else’s expense.
