I use the Rose Style labels and galvanized wire. They work perfectly and not only do the labels help garden visitors they also help me remember the names of plants. Instead of writing on the label (I have horrible penmanship) I use a Brother PT - H100 Label Maker with black ink and clear tape. They work nicely and I've had a number of them out all year long over the past few years and they are still as readable as the day that I put them on. The 2015 Butte wildfire in California claimed our home, about an acre and a half of formal landscaping and nearly 2,000 trees on our 40 acre parcel. What survived that fire? Almost all of our Paw Paw Everlast plant labels which we retrieved from the moonscape and are now reusing as we replace plants we lost! We had purchased the heavy duty zinc 3 1/2" labels with 12" stakes. Loved them then, love them even more now! Be sure to order the pencils. They work perfectly and the writing lasts a VERY long time! As in, it is 2019 and labels made in 2014 are still readable. Great product. You can't go wrong!

I have been gardening for over 30 years. The PawPaw zinc labels with holes for the steel stakes to slip through cannot be beat for function and durability. I have tried many alternatives, and nothing was even in the same league.

I’ve used these plant markers in my garden for years. There are none better. In my last order, I mistakenly ordered the wrong height. I called and they could not have been nicer or faster in getting the right ones to me. So, excellent product and excellent customer service! What more do you want?
