Unprofessional business. Stay far away
I previously served as the sole videographer for Event Odyssey, capturing video content for two high school choirs. During my tenure, I encountered several red flags, including a lack of respect and an unfavorable contract that included a mediation clause that hinders the ability to sue in small claims court for unpaid invoices. After signing with Event Odyssey, my experience significantly deteriorated, resulting in increased stress. Unfortunately, despite completing our final engagement in March 2025, Event Odyssey has failed to remit the outstanding balance of $872.92. I have since resumed working directly with the two school choirs, independent of Event Odyssey, and have found this arrangement to be more satisfactory. I would advise others to carefully consider their business partnerships and ensure they receive fair compensation for their work.
