HORRIBLE COMPANY TO CONTRACT WITH
I worked for eTeam as a contractor assigned to Caterpillar from February 9, 2026, through July 17, 2026. My experience with eTeam was disappointing because of the lack of communication surrounding the end of my assignment. Less than one month before my assignment ended, I had a lengthy discussion with an eTeam manager regarding developmental feedback. The conversation emphasized continued growth, support, and opportunities to improve. At no point was I told that my assignment was at risk. On July 17, I was informed that my assignment had ended effective immediately. I asked multiple times for an explanation regarding why my assignment was terminated but was repeatedly told only that the assignment ended "at the client's direction" and that no further information could be provided. Throughout my assignment, I maintained dependable attendance, never called in sick, and worked hard to support my team. I also proactively communicated with both eTeam and my manager regarding a series of medical appointments related to a concussion and worked a flexible schedule to minimize any impact on my work. I appreciated that my schedule flexibility was acknowledged. The offboarding process was also frustrating. It took multiple emails before I received instructions regarding the return of my company equipment, and I had to follow up repeatedly to obtain the information I needed. My review reflects my personal experience. I was left feeling blindsided by the abrupt end of my assignment and disappointed by the lack of transparency and communication during the termination and offboarding process. I had hoped for more open communication and a clearer explanation after dedicating six months to the assignment.
