Lack of support
What troubles me most is the company’s apparent lack of a formal Human Resources department. In today’s corporate world, HR is essential to ensuring compliance with labor laws, protecting employee rights, and maintaining professional standards. Without an HR department, I have found there is no clear path to report grievances or resolve workplace conflicts. As one former employee told me, “There’s no one to go to if something goes wrong. It’s essentially a free-for-all where management has unchecked power."
