My name is Jeanette. I attended a Taxes in Retirement 567 (aka Enlighten 567) presentation in Middleton, WI in August 2026. I do not recommend providing any information to this organization by signing up for or attending any of their presentations. I did not use the link in the email they sent asking for a review, because that link allows others to change the writer's words. It shows a warning stating that. I am pretty sure the company is altering submitted reviews. It was worthless to me and the majority of attendees. It appeared that 2 or 3 people there could actually make sense of what was said and interacted with the speaker. However, they could have been "plants", just to make it seem that someone was getting something out of it. The speaker spoke continuously and way too fast. The majority of people in attendance just shook their heads and walked away in disbelief. I have a suspicion it was just a way to gather information to use or to sell for other marketing purposes. I would give zero stars if I could. I would also give Trustpilot zero stars if I could. They average in 7 non-existent 3.5 star reviews to give companies the benefit of the doubt!

No show at a scheduled event - I wouldn't trust them.

I attended a (So-Called) Taxes in Retirement Seminar by Enlighten567 [Enlighten567.com] The invitation was misleading and the audience expectation was the seminar would teach us how to better manage taxes in retirement. But it was false advertising. Enlighten567 is simply a marketing firm. The seminar had very little to do with taxes and was more like a sales pitch for a financial management company. These people are not accountants and do not have the licensing, education, or ability to discuss taxes. They are financial planners and insurance salespeople looking for new clients, just more people wanting to make money off of your money. The presenter couldn't answer basic questions about taxes in retirement, and said they just schedule events. The content was not educational. Just another unwanted sales pitch and total waste of time.
