I no longer have the account number but after some of Elevation Credit Union representatives told me a loan was being forgiven I was contacted by a Denver Attorney, Francy Law, saying I was being sued. Even though I am retired with minimal funds, we negotiated a payoff in January of 2026, and I borowed money to pay the negotiated amount. My problem is I have been trying to get this taken off my credit report since January. Francy Law, who I will also copy on this communication, was the greatest help I have had but they are not able to ensure Elevations does due diligence per the agreement that should have been enforced by Elevations. Elevations Credit Union has adversely affected my credit rating and that needs to be resolved as soon as possible. To date, I have been completely ignored by Elevations Credit Union.

Elevations is a really great credit union. Whenever you have an issue, there are real and caring people there to help. They have great home mortgage rates, both my family members and I got loans here, because they were much more reasonably priced than anything else we found. They are a great local institution that really cares about and invests in local businesses and people. They are not up to large-scale money schemes like so many big banks. Local bank that really cares about local people.

I went to exchange a $10 bill for quarters and it’s their policy that If the customer doesn’t have an account there that they can look up they can’t exchange cash for cash for some reason. My client has an account there, but since she wasn’t with me. 🙄 dumb.

My brother has just died. I am the PR of his estate. I have told Elevations at least 8 times that he his dead. I am awre of his debt but there is no money in the state until we sell his house, which we are currently doing. But they continue to call me at least every other day, and send me quasi-threatening letters a few times a week. The conversations are exactly the same. This is a bank without a shred of human kindness (I know banks are not known for this) but you would think they have dealt with the exact same situation (DEATH) many times and would have learned how to show some respect for those in mourning.

I appreciate the personal connection that is always available at Elevations Credit Union. In the 30+ years I have banked there, it has only improved. There are more women in prominent positions; the cashiers are always friendly and respectful; and the service to international clients has greatly improved what with so many Americans living abroad. Thank you for your prompt and informed response to my needs..

I've had a great experience with Elevations--been with them for years after fleeing Chase bank. They helped me improve my credit, they offer a variety of free or low-cost accounts, and their ATM fees are far lower than big banks'. The branches are staffed with friendly professionals and the call/email help options are pretty effective and timely.

Elevations opts to make money by contracting with Harland Clarke, a check-order company, that defrauds members of Elevations. Pick option 1 (Harland Clarke) or option 2 (your members). Watch how fast your members find other check-ordering possibilities that are far, far less expensive.

Nothing but issues, you can't get in touch with a branch, all calls go to a Boulder branch and my wait time was 89 minutes and there were 69 callers ahead of me. The freeze and hold cash deposits that I deposited in their ATM. I have had my account since Feb. And have always had my pay check direct deposited and they have a hold on my check now which is frustrating because I'm now going to be late on rent. I've also not had access to my app for the last week because of an update they did. The new update is terrible. I'm very very disappointed with this credit union.As soon as my check posts I'm pulling my money and closing the account...this bank is a joke.
