Immense value from this training, far more than can be absorbed in a single session.
I attended the Wharton training session February 2025. I am in my second year of my MBA and have been working for 6+ months on a pivot from engineering to VC. Despite having a minor head start, I still took away significant new wisdom on networking, investment hypothesis creation, and new valuation methodologies that I hadn't yet learned (full disclosure: I missed the Wharton Valuation course when first offered and am auditing it now; but 10 methods were offered). The amount of material Kaushik covered in 5 hours was truly amazing. He clearly is well versed in venture capital, its culture, and the required hard and soft skills to succeed. But even more valuable was the access to the models and research his team has conducted. I would have paid more than twice as much as I did and sat for another 5 hours if it were offered. Don't miss this if you get the opportunity and you are serious about breaking into VC.
