The Elevate platform played a fundamental and critical role in receiving a private equity offer from a very solid and reputable fund. I would highly recommend Elevate to anyone trying to reach the next level in their career!

The Elevate platform is fantastic for so many reasons beyond its specialized training resources, but it is worth highlighting the thoughtfulness and care that went into each training program to make the modules as useful to students and young professionals as possible (I am a current investment banking analyst and a former student investment club leader at Harvard). While finance generally remains a field that follows the apprenticeship model and often requires one to learn mostly on the job, the Elevate instructors do a tremendous job of tailoring the instructional content to be a) comprehensive in its coverage of the fundamental topics for the industry; b) thoroughly detailed; and c) inclusive of more advanced topics. Overall, Elevate’s courses are remarkably well constructed and exceed expectations in their survey of both the core and advanced topics necessary for young professionals to understand.

I was the President of Lion Fund LLC (Columbia’s oldest student-run investment fund). Partnering with Elevate has opened many doors for my campus club; we've been able to meet similar-minded students across many top schools who are also interested in investing through Elevate's flagship FINNECT program. Furthermore, Elevate's training modules have provided us with a comprehensive, all-encompassing view of the skills to required to succeed in IB and PE. Another aspect of the platform that many of our members have enjoyed is the biweekly / monthly events held by Elevate with accomplished professionals. The events provide our members with the opportunity to get advice and access to professionals with similar backgrounds to themselves and allows them to deepen their interest in certain niches (e.g. many of our members enjoyed the Indian Investing conference held in April). Overall, we're thankful this resource exists and hope to continue to strengthen our partnership with the Elevate network.

To provide context, I am a student leader at one of the premier finance clubs at UChicago and an incoming IB SA at Morgan Stanley. From my experience, Elevate has been truly an amazing platform that provides unmatched resources for aspiring students pursuing careers in Finance. It has allowed our club members to not only access high-quality training and advising materials in IB, PE, and VC, but also participate in numerous events with high-profile firms and professionals throughout the year. Moreover, the Finnect platform run by Elevate offers another avenue for our members to meet and connect with peer students with diverse backgrounds at other universities. Our partnership with Elevate has been invaluable for our members’ professional development, and I would highly recommend it to any Finance-focused student organizations around the country.

Really helpful organization that allows you to meet with other like-minded peers working in finance. I have had many really great conversations since signing up for Elevate's Finnect program; members of the program are pre-vetted and therefore of very high quality. Elevate also hosts regular events with extremely high production value that continuously helps me learn more about careers in finance. Even as a current investment banker, being able to attend these events allows me to garner more diverse views about the industry and receive knowledge from more experienced peers.

Elevate Career Network provided excellent career coaching services: they not only provided valuable advice on how to narrow down career choices, but also gave concrete feedback to me on how to reach out to people for career advices. They also offered very candid and valuable advice on how to improve my interview skills. I was able to receive an offer through their help. I highly recommend their services.

Over the past year, I’ve had the opportunity to work with Elevate through their partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Throughout each interaction with their team, members of the Investment Banking Club have benefited from events with top professionals, access to their advice database, and exclusive recruiting opportunities. I’ve also had the chance to enroll and complete Elevate’s Investment Banking, Private Equity, and Venture Capital & Growth Equity courses. As someone who has used numerous prep courses over the years, there were a few things that stood out to me about Elevate’s courses. The first thing was the breadth of material that each course contained. They managed to cover the important high-level aspects of a career in its respective category and also dive into the details through the various case studies and modeling walkthroughs. Additionally, the inclusion of real-world instructors that have experience from the leading finance firms was incredibly valuable to me. This was because it gave me a chance to see how these professionals would approach a deal or investment opportunity and what their key considerations would be. Lastly, my favorite aspect of the Elevate platform has been the numerous networking opportunities that it has provided. This includes both their Finnect and Capital Club services, which allow young professionals to connect with other like-minded individuals and find mentors throughout the financial industry. Also, the Elevate exclusive events have been a great way for me to connect with individuals and firms that I never would have had access to through my university. Overall, my experience with Elevate has been fantastic and invaluable to my career. The advice I received from members of the platform helped me get staffed on top deals during my summer internship and ultimately win a full-time offer. I look forward to being a member of the platform for years to come.
