I received the wrong product
Update: I am now expected to return the wrong bag, reorder the bag I originally ordered at $173 more than what I paid for it! They messed up, offered 10% or $50 off. Which will result in it being still $103.50 more than what I originally paid. How is that a fair resolution?
I received the wrong product, reached out and still have not received any response on what is needed to resolve this! I have followed up and still have not received a response!

My order was cancelled
My order was cancelled. While I wasn’t charged, I went through Editorialist because of the price. The only explanation I received was “sorry, it is no longer available”. How can they advertise something that isn’t available or even offer an alternative or other compensation? Even % off your next purchase to encourage me to come back? Right now I am I do not plan on returning.
Response from EditorialistJun 11, 2026
Hi Robin! Thanks for sharing your feedback, and sorry for the inconvenience of your order being cancelled. We understand how disappointing this can be, especially when you were expecting the item to be available at the time of purchase. Unfortunately, it became unavailable during processing, which led to the cancellation. If you could share your order number, we’d be happy to take a closer look and assist you further. We appreciate your feedback and would really like the opportunity to help improve your experience with us.

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Order Cancellation and Processing Issues with Editorialist
On or about May 27, 2026, I initiated a transaction on Editorialist's website for a pair of Nike LeBron 23 EP "Dreams and Nightmares" shoes. Shortly after placing the order, I submitted a cancellation request due to several discrepancies, which included:
1. Ambiguity surrounding size selection,
2. Engagement of a third-party fulfillment vendor,
3. Inconsistent transaction details,
4. Concerns regarding the overall transaction process.
Despite my timely cancellation request, Editorialist generated a cancellation confirmation through their internal system. However, I was later informed that the order was still being processed. Notably, the Editorialist acknowledged in writing the following points:
1. “We can confirm that your cancellation request was submitted.”
2. “Our system acknowledged the cancellation request.”
3. “The order continued to move forward on our end despite the cancellation request being submitted.”
4. “The system, unfortunately, did not refresh in time,” characterizing the issue as “system-related confusion.”
These statements represent clear admissions from Editorialist, explicitly confirming that:
- A timely cancellation request was submitted and received.
- Editorialist’s system recognized the request and generated related communications.
- An internal failure occurred, leading to the processing of the order despite the acknowledged cancellation.
Despite these admissions, my Indigo Mastercard was charged $541.68 for the transaction.
Documentary Evidence
1. Editorialist account records reflecting registered customer information.
2. Order records detailing Order #57649781, payment by Mastercard ending in 2433, total charge of $541.68, and notes indicating fulfillment through Kicks Crew.
3. My written cancellation communications.
4. Editorialist’s written acknowledgment of the cancellation request. The editorialist’s explanation of the internal system failure as the reason for continued processing.
Consumer Protection Concerns:
This matter raises significant concerns related to:
1. Contradictory order communications.
2. Representations regarding cancellation that conflict with order processing actions.
3. Charges on a consumer account post-acknowledgment of a cancellation request.
4. Delays in resolution following recognition of the cancellation issue.
5. Potentially confusing disclosures surrounding merchant identity, fulfillment responsibilities, and cancellation rights.
While I do not allege intentional misconduct in this forum, these circumstances prompt inquiries into compliance with established consumer protection principles, which include:
- Truthful and non-misleading commercial communications.
- Accurate representations regarding order status.
- Fair processing of cancellation requests.
- Transparent disclosures of third-party fulfillment relationships.
- Timely corrections of recognized transaction-processing errors.
- Adherence to fair business practices as outlined by California consumer protection statutes and related regulations.
Lastly, this company represents the worst of governance, integrity, ethics, and consumer treatment.
BTW, I have read many of the company's responses, and it is always."We are working on it, reaching out to .....? After this company admitted the order was cancelled, I was actually told the company that was the "true seller, " refused my cancellation. Their response, " That is not true, feel free to post that." Just getting started, with no end.
I truly hope you are sincere. As of now, the refund has not been issued. However, once completed, I will update and upgrade all reviews, complaints, etc
Response from EditorialistJun 3, 2026
Hi Jason! Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the frustration, confusion, and concern this situation has caused. We fully understand how disappointing this experience must have been, particularly given the conflicting updates regarding your order’s cancellation. Upon reviewing your case, we found that your cancellation request was submitted while the order was already in the processing stage. An automated message was sent shortly after your request, indicating that the order was already too far along in the shipping process to be canceled. That said, we have now immediately submitted a cancellation and refund request on your behalf, and we will keep you informed via email as soon as we receive confirmation. We have also shared your feedback with the relevant teams to help prevent similar issues moving forward, as we are committed to ensuring our clients always enjoy a seamless and exceptional experience with Editorialist. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding while we work toward a resolution. Please rest assured we remain fully committed to keeping you updated every step of the way.
