Jim, If you need any guidance on how to best use Onyx please reach out to us at 844-256-1833 and we'll assist you the best we can. Looking at your order, the Onyx product can be vaped or used sublingually. Being that it's an all natural plant product it doesn't contain flavoring additives and we don't advertise that it contains flavoring. You can definitely try adding flavoring liquid for vaping if you like, many people do this. Or if you are using sublingually, chase it down with one of your favorite beverages. Also regarding the cough, that can be a reaction of overheating the liquid. If you can adjust your device down to 20 watts, start there and try, and go no higher than 50 watts that will help with a smoother delivery. Please let us know if we can answer any questions, and thank you for your review!
