I recently completed the Hotel Real Estate Investments & Asset Management
I recently completed the Hotel Real Estate & Asset Management course through eCornell, and it was an incredibly valuable experience. The program does a great job of bridging theory with real-world application, offering practical insights into hotel investments, valuation, and asset optimization. What I really liked was how the course broke things down in a simple, easy to follow way. Even some of the more technical topics felt approachable, and the real examples helped connect everything to what actually happens in the industry. I’d highly recommend this course not just for asset managers, but also for general managers and hotel leaders who want a better understanding of the ownership side and how their day to day decisions impact overall asset performance.

Profiling Cornell University eCornell Programs
I have completed two certificate programs at Cornell University eCornell — HR Transformation and Strategic HR Leadership. The videos in each program are concise, focused, and highly practical. The concepts are consistently well articulated and immediately inspire application in the workplace. In addition, the facilitator-led peer-to-peer engagements significantly enriched my experience by creating opportunities to share with, and learn from colleagues across the cohort who brought valuable real-world perspectives and insights. I am a returning participant and a highly impressed, satisfied client.

I really enjoyed the format of the…
I really enjoyed the format of the classes. I appreciated that there was no strict requirement to meet via video conference, which was especially helpful since participants were in different time zones. The class lengths were well-balanced and manageable. That said, it’s important to stay mindful of deadlines for tests and projects. I did submit a couple of items late, but the instructors were very flexible and understanding, recognizing that many of us have full-time jobs. I would absolutely recommend eCornell to anyone considering it, and I know I’ll be using what I learned in these classes in my current role.

Business Communications: Trends, Practice, and Global Exchange
Completing the communications program at Cornell University has been a truly rewarding experience. It has been a great time of learning and exchange, guided by experienced and inspiring teachers who brought both academic rigor and real‑world perspective to every session. One of the highlights was connecting with professionals from the United States and from all over the world, all working within the communications industry. Listening to their experiences, case examples, and challenges enriched the learning far beyond theory. Learn Lessons to Help in Real-World Situations
The exercises and assignments were very helpful to reinforce lessons. Moreover, the assignments felt very applicable. Therefore, I feel ready to write legislation, lead a campaign to get legislation passed, and other skills that the certificate taught me.
