UPDATE - Just wanted to post the update here. FedEx had lost this package, the manufacturer replaced it once FedEx claimed it was lost and the customer received the package. Hi Lorraine, we have received your review regarding the tear in your comforter.  We were not aware there was an issue.  You requested a standard return authorization which we provided, however, this situation doesn't fall under that circumstance and we are happy to help you with the issue. We can handle this situation quickly, and there is NO expense to you at all. Simply email us a picture of the damage to [email protected].  We'll then provide you with a FULL refund. We'll notify the manufacturer of the issue and the manufacturer may or may not even request the item back. If they do, you'll be provided with a pre-paid return label.  This process is very quick and easy, and again, we want to work with you to make this right.  Please allow us the opportunity to help you with this issue as a damaged item is not your fault, nor should you ever have to pay it. We at eBedding4You work very hard to provide the best customer service for every customer. We are transparent with our policies and provide thorough communication to make sure our customers are informed each step of the way. Our return policy ensures customers are treated fairly. Unfortunately, this customer complaint was submitted nearly one and a half years after owning and using the item (a sofa). The manufacturer’s warranty does not extend to this length of time and we were simply unable to offer a solution at that point. To be as transparent as possible, please see the following details outlining this customer’s experience and our efforts to maintain our high standard of customer service. This customer ordered a Blue INK+IVY Newport Sofa on 07/01/2019 (Monday) at 10:14am CT for $599.00. Due to the size of the sofa (79.5"W x 30.75" D x 31.5"H), it was necessary for the manufacturer to order a LTL/Freight company for the delivery. As with every order, we provided “free shipping” on this order every order. The LTL/Freight cost that eBedding4You incurred to ship the sofa to this customer was $222.50. With LTL/Freight shipments, they often require a bit longer than the standard 1-5 business days, as is customary on shipments via UPS or FedEx. Below you will find the timeline regarding this order: • 07/01/2019 at 10:14AM CT. – Order placed • 07/10/2019 at 03:19PM CT. – Customer notified of the Shipping/Tracking/BOL Freight number (7 business days after order placed) • 07/12/2019 at 02:15PM CT. – Order shipped from manufacturer’s warehouse. (9 business days after order placed) • 07/15/2109 at 08:36AM CT. – Order was picked up by the freight company from the manufacturer’s warehouse and was now in transit. (11 business days after order placed) • 07/17/2019 at 09:11AM CT. – Order was delivered (13 business days after order placed) Total time from order placed to order delivered was 13 business days. The customer contacted us with frustration regarding the time the LTL/Freight delivery was taking.

We did refund you in full on Dec 29th, this holiday season threw the warehouses and shipping for a loop - we're so sorry for that and want to assure you that's not the typical experience we provide for customers. Laura - we are so sorry for this mixup. We've refunded your order in full as of today. There was certainly confusion in the warehouse on this one and that is on us - with the addition of UPS being overwhelmed with packages this holiday season, your item did not ship as anticipated. However, we don't want customers waiting long, as the final step with the warehouse can often take longer than expected.
