Long Drawdown, Lack of Transparency, and No Response When It Mattered
I was a client of EFX Algo for an extended period and ran multiple live accounts. Initially, performance was strong, which led me to increase capital over time. Unfortunately, both accounts entered prolonged drawdowns that lasted close to a year. During this period, there were no clearly defined exit criteria, time stops, or transparent recovery plans provided. Risk management relied heavily on patience rather than predefined invalidation points. As the drawdown persisted, I reached out to both technical support and directly to the owner to request guidance on a structured, risk-defined exit. Despite previously responsive communication, I received no reply at the time it mattered most. Ultimately, I made the decision to fully close all positions on my own to protect remaining capital. While market conditions can always change, the lack of transparency, accountability, and communication during a critical period was disappointing. This may work for some during favorable market cycles, but prospective clients should clearly understand the drawdown behavior, risk structure, and what level of support to expect when performance deteriorates.
