This might actually be the most ridiculous customer service experience I've ever had. I placed a order on August 16. It still hadn't shipped, so I emailed them and said I wanted to cancel it and get a refund. That's it. Literally the easiest request imaginable. Instead of canceling it, they offered me different products and a gift card. I said no. Cancel it. Then they offered me 30% off. I said no AGAIN. Cancel it. At this point I couldn't possibly make myself any clearer, so I literally told them: no more alternative offers, cancel my order and refund the full amount to my original payment method. Guess what they emailed me next? ANOTHER OFFER. This time they offered me a 50% refund if I kept the order. Like WHAT??? At this point I genuinely started wondering if anybody was actually reading my emails. I said CANCEL. Not “give me a better deal.” Not “keep increasing the discount until I change my mind.” Not “let's negotiate.” CANCEL. THE. ORDER. Somehow we went from different products → gift card → 30% off → 50% refund because apparently canceling an unshipped order requires solving a riddle over there. I had to email them AGAIN and spell it out like I was explaining it to a five-year-old: I do not want replacements. I do not want discounts. I do not want store credit. I do not want another offer. I WANT THE ORDER CANCELED. They FINALLY canceled it and processed my full refund. The funniest part is their final email actually apologized for the frustration caused by their “repeated offers.” They eventually refunded me, but Jesus Christ. It should not require multiple emails and four different retention attempts to understand the words “cancel my order.” Absolutely embarrassing customer service. Never ordering from this company again.

I called customer service and they addressed my issue. I had no problems with them.

I never thought to consult online reviews before purchasing Cacao Bliss--it was co-marketed & promoted by several other health companies I trust(ed)! After NO RECEIPT OF PRODUCT more than 4 MONTHS after my order on 1/21/26, I tracked down their headquarters in Idaho & on M 6/1/26 filed this complaint with the Idaho Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division: The person's name and date you contacted: On Monday, May 13, 2026, I spoke with BRYAN. Describe the nature of the response: * - Please provide a copy of the response with the uploads below. I had an existing subscription for 1 BAG of Cacao Bliss, every few months. On JANUARY 21, 2026, I placed special order subscription #13621 ONLINE for 3 PACKAGES of Cacao Bliss @$40 each + order #13623, 1 PACKAGE of Golden Bliss @$47 for a total of $167.00. At 8:35 pm ET that evening, I sent an email to cancel the subscription for the SINGLE bag of Cacao Bliss. (Perhaps this change confused them?) I NEVER RECEIVED ANY PRODUCT. In a phone call on 4/13/26, BRYAN acknowledged receipt of FULL PAYMENT. (Receipt attached.) He promised they would “reship (?) the order at no additional charge” (?!) & they would then put the subscription on hold. (He never did say that it was SHIPPED when I ordered it in January!) He advised me to “ask for him” if I called back. Please describe your complaint in detail, including the names of all parties involved, relevant dates, and specific actions taken. If additional space is needed, you may attach extra pages. * I waited--& STILL had received NO PRODUCT when I called again on 5/11/26. Bryan had me on the line while he “investigated” for >25 minutes--then my call got dropped! He called back, said they were “investigating” (THEY RECEIVED MY PAYMENT IN JANUARY & I NEVER GOT MY PRODUCT! WHAT IS THERE TO “INVESTIGATE”??), said he’d call me back tomorrow 4-5pm. I NEVER GOT ANOTHER CALL. Eleven days later, on 5/22/26, I wrote an angry email “ENOUGH ALREADY!” demanding my products by Monday, 6/1, or I would contact Consumer Protection agencies & share this with social media. No response. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR THIS BEHAVIOR. I thought this was a reputable company! * * * They responded to the A.G. & issued a refund. I WANTED THE PRODUCT. They then agreed to send it NO CHARGE--but large bags of Cacao Bliss were "out of stock"!! They sent 1 box of mini-packs, + the Golden Bliss, with a promise to ship the remaining 2 FULL BAGS of C.B. in LATE JULY, after my return from an extended trip. I got home on July 14--to find a weathered yellow envelope on my doorstep, so faded that all print was illegible. It contained 2 full bags--of GOLDEN Bliss!! (Probably inedible after prolonged exposure to sun & rain...) AFTER 6 MONTHS, THEY STILL COULDN'T GET ANYTHING RIGHT!! More emails...I FINALLY received the 2 bags of CACAO BLISS on JULY 30, 2026. I LOVE this unique product--& will NEVER BUY AGAIN from this company. Nor will I trust PaleoHacks, the parent company (who was informed of this complaint). There is no excuse for this level of incompetence. Or for tolerating it. I would like to know how to contact founder Danette May. She needs to know how customers are being treated!

On June 10/2026 I purchased some chocolate powder drink mix, from this company only to realize it signed me up to a subscription, I canceled the subscription on June 12/2026 by calling them, got it canceled no big deal. On July 13/2026 they charged my account for another shipment, it arrived in the mail. I called them and asked why are you taking money out of my account and sending me your product. I didn't authorize this, and i don't have a subscription, she checked and said, I see you canceled on June 12/2026, I asked them to refund my money, she said I need to email customer service to get my refund, I did that, they replied send us a picture of the bag and product received and we'll send your refund. I did that, and asked how to return the item. They replied, just one more thing, cut the top off the bag and send us a picture showing us you did that and then we'll refund your money. I email her back and told her, you guys wronged me, and now you want to play silly games, and make me jump through hoops to get my money back. Its not right, you promised if I sent pictures you would refund my money, then there's always just one more thing, your company needs to make this right, and refund the money you took from me. Is this how you treat your customers. That's why you got one star, If zero stars were available I would give you that!!!!

I ordered a 3 month package but was asked to choose which package I wanted a second time. However the site did not show me a page with “confirm or review your order”. This was intentional to create 2 orders. Then I see two charges for different amounts - each for 3 packages of the cocoa. I messaged my payment center in minutes- they said the charges had gone through and they couldn’t cancel them. They did suggest I put a stop to the automatic subscription.

I was a regular subscriber to this company, had a problem with my last order, it smelled a bit moldy, I sent several emails and never heard a response. So I cancelled all my subscriptios, I did love many of their products but because of poor customer support I no longer will buy their products. Funny though as I keep getting ads all the time of the sales and products they have, but again no response from them. I was very disappointed

I ordered some sample packs of Cacao Bliss and added on a large package hoping to like it. I was disappointed with flavor and the fact that there was so little product for the money. So I sent back the larger package for money back. After 3 months of not seeing any refund decided to call and press the issue. Sure enough they had received the package 3 months earlier and apparently had no intention of refunding. This is just plain dishonest and I wonder how many thousands of customers they have also done this to. They stated that I had not replied to their email and given them the tracking number! Even though they had the tracking number recorded in their system.
