Website problems and Incomplete product images
I’m more confused than anything. I don’t typically leave reviews for companies I’ve yet to do official business with, however, my experience so far hasn’t been great. The website is so poorly maintained (or run). It takes forever for the images to load, and you spend more time waiting to get even a glimpse of the boot. Another issue I’ve experienced (this one is actually mind boggling to me) but there’s actually ZERO images of their boots from the top view. Meaning, every single image any customer uses on this website… is a side view. Customers have no way to view the boot from above. I mean… what? $150 - $250 a pair and I don’t have even a single photo of the top outline of the boot?? A $250 pair of boots and I’m guessing what that outline looks like. Even in the PRC collection there’s a photo of a pair I liked and one of the images is a guy leaning on a wooden barn fence… the guy is wearing what looks like the boots. But, when you look further you realize the image shows a guy wearing a square tip. The pair I was looking at didn’t have a square tip (I don’t think it does… a top view may have helped). All of this, as I reach out in the “chat option” on the website. I get nothing. I wait again and realize no one is responding. Then you realize the website doesn’t have a simple function to exit out of the chat (you can’t make this up). You’re stuck and when I found a way to maneuver to a part of their website… IMMEDIATELY the chat feature pops up again. You get out of the chat… immediately it pops up again, and again. This occurs until you close out the entire website. This made me come here to check others experiences. I have to say I’m glad there’s not a lot of bad reviews and I was surprised to see only one. Although, reading that gentleman’s story was eye opening and I’m pretty sure I’m going with another company. Listen, things happen in life. We can’t control everything as to it going perfect all the time. But what we can control is how we handle it. If I was a customer and spent close to a thousand dollars… and I was in his situation I’d be aggravated. The simple fact the company hasn’t even addressed his comment, well, that speaks volumes too. If I make a purchase with this company and it goes well, of course I’ll come back and change most of this. If you’re the company and reading this… the website is a problem. Ya’ll NEED to add photos of your product from a top view and show customers what the actual boot looks like. Not only for customers, but as a preventive measure to avoid exchanges. Top photos would allow people to decide if they like the boot BEFORE they have them bought and shipped, only to then start a return. Nice looking boots from what I can tell. No idea about the durability of them but I’min the market to buy two pairs with a $500 budget.
